I respect your opinions, DocHolliday, but I've had a different experience with a pair of Italian-made RL chelsea boots. I bought a pair in suede during the RL sale last Fall and they're holding up well. They look good, fit well, and the suede is surprisingly durable. So I think my chelseas represent decent value for the price (sale price, with a stacked coupon).
I can understand Doc's frustrations, but I'd suggest that it is the responsibility of GVH to disclose any imperfections in the boots they sell on ebay (Doc's second pair of RL chelseas).
