You could be right since I noticed the measurements seemed small for a size 10. I had no idea Gravati made women's shoes though.

I was way off. The Stanford are present in the AE Spring 2006 only in the Brogue suede. In Fall 2005 they were offered in Black "Gala Silk" calf and the suede. They do not appeart in my 2007 catalog.

So yeah it looks like the Shell's were a special order. They sound like a sweet special order boot, do they have the all rubber soles?? I like my brown suede pair but would have preferred the AE leather rubber sole combination.

A vintage bowler hat made in England for Brooks Brothers: http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Herbert-...QQcmdZViewItem There's a little damage to the trim around the brim, but otherwise it could look quite smart after a good steam and a brushing. Currently standing at $5.

Anyone have an opinion on the maker of the Carroll & Co shoes pictured above above?
Can't be Alden as the combination size markings are opposite of their markings.

Edward Green?

Honestly no clue. Never seen a Green that looked like that, but that doesn't rule it out.

I don't know either, my guess would be C & J simply because they are pretty solid/heavy shoes.
