title does say "italian made", so unless this is a recent edit (and it may be, based on the item revisions), he's not hiding that.

$75K for four tie making machines. Note that "all machines are in beirut, Lebanon".

Hmmmm... I think I know who was cranking out all those fake Brioni ties from Lebanese eBay sellers.

Good prices on some Alfred Sargents? Not sure what line they are from or of the quality. Compares well with Pediwear AS prices in general. http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZexemplary_shoes

I approve of your deductive skills! If true, at least they used a fresh ebay id for this sale!

Nice find. They look like shell with a pressed grain pattern.

Not particularly good. Stafford is a J.C. Penney store brand. They are scotch grain leather, which is an imprint that can be done on shell cordovan, but more often is used to mask a somewhat inferior grade of leather from an older cow. I've seen a few pair of the Stafford longwings and some of them seem to be very well made. This pair looks to have been very lightly used and if you like them and they fit you, enjoy them. However, I don't think they are shell.

I'm guessing those are not shell but shiny CG. Has Stafford always been a J.C. Penney house brand? EDIT: Tony beat me to it. The logo inside looks like pretty recent -- maybe the '80s? -- and something about the footbed looks, well, a bit off.
