Two more from Ron:

Conservative size 8 brown captoe bal, $125 BIN or best offer:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Romano-Martegani...2em118Q2el1247

Quirky brown captoe bal in unusual "vintage lama calfskin." Size 9.5, $165 BIN or best offer:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Romano-Martegani...742.m153.l1262

Not sure what to make of the latter pair, but I think I like 'em. Would be interested to see a closeup of the leather.

I've got these and I wear the hell out of them in the winter

This could be a good deal for a narrow 11

Is it Lama or should it be Llama calfskin? Is the calfskin embossed to look like the Peruvian animal or the Tibetan spiritual leader?

Interesting, either way...!

You know, I was half-expecting something with their faces garishly printed onto the front of the tie. You know, like on all those commemorative mugs and tea-trays.

I'm almost disappointed.

Nettleton "Cavalry Leggings" supposedly from WWI. I would guess they are either cordovan or other horsehide.
