I think those are about Aportnoy's size.

Have plans (i.e. the item is in the queue) for a chocolate cape to wear with this. Either full length (like the one FDR wore at Yalta) or short like the Thom browne did for BB black fleece.

Currently have two brown pumps. They are both a little long for me, they may show up on the buying and selling thread soon. This ostrich would be fun.

I had a dream where LK was stalking me throughout a large house trying to capture me for Hermes accessories. Not sure what this means.

Anyone know if these would be worth it and if they'd run large? Nobody has bid yet and I was thinking of making a run at it.

well, it has been relisted. i think A. Harris posted this a while back, surprised it is still available.

they look like church's or cheaneys.

seller seems to think they run small from their marked size of 9D - are you using 8D as the size you hope run large from (in which case, go ahead, bid on it), or 9D (in which case, probably too small).

I'm hoping it'd fit an 8.5D or so. 125 for churchs are not too bad? I thought everyone hated them and they were all corrected grain, etc.

at $125, i would buy church's. at $650-800, which is what they seem want at retail, it's a stupid buy.

from what i've seen, church's is roughly AE/Alden quality, maybe a little better. not better than C&J, though. so why pay double the AE/Alden retail price? but at $125, which is below AE prices on ebay for boots (and this is a style AE hasn't made in a decade, although I think alden puts out a similar style), it's a solid move.

and this pair doesn't look corrected grain - for whatever reason, church's is enamored with the coated stuff. but they do put out a few full grained options and those would be the styles i would look for.

and of course, it's a educated guess as the provenance. they could be barker's for all i know.

I'm thinking they would fit you, as 11.25" outsole length sounds awfully long for a size 8. And the last doesn't look that elongated.

Those A&F shoes were made years ago, so even if they are Churchs, they would date to well before the Prada takeovers. I've read that both Church quality and styling used to be much better then. Their prominent use of "bookbinder leather" (corrected grain) is also a recent thing.

In other words, I would've bought them if they actually fit a size 8.

Looks like Bennie's has Grenson for PS on sale. http://www.benniesshoes.com/catalog/SHM/GR/ 219$ for all styles, which I find to be an excellent deal for the Timothy and Johns.
That's a great price for the Timothy's. I got them for $360 a while back and thought I was getting a deal. Most comfortable shoes I own.
Get one half size bigger than normal.

Phew, they don't have my size.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=150261348430 Perhaps to labelking's liking. Not sure if it's a good deal since I'm not the biggest consumer of rare animals.
