oh yeah and for a true classic Industrial band check out Skinny Puppy.

This Mortal Coil? as in the 4AD band? you must be thinking of someone else. Einsturzende Neubauten. yes, i'm sure i'm missing an oomlaut in there somewhere.

but along these lines, Ministry. especially their live album In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up. and the Ministry off shoot, 1000 Homo DJs. their cover of Black Sabbath's Supernaut is pretty freakin' kick ass.

Thanks Magician. You are spot on, as Ween has been one of my favorite bands since I was in HS.

Also, will DL some Link Wray.

NIN: Try Tweaker. I think he put out only one album and it's not quite as raw as NIN, but he was a member of the band so there is some of that in his music.

Talking Heads: David Byrne solo work

NAh I meant This Mortal Coil, they are a different than NIN but often those who like NIN like them. Ministry is spot of tho and puts me in the mind of PigFace. For sure try PigFace.

I would honestly caution against Byrne's solo work. I think you would like his splits with Eno though, Conne.

Also for the NIN guy, I don't know if Bauhaus was already mentioned but it should have been. Really great proto-goth stuff.

Great band. My two recommendations would be: 1. Tegan and Sara - Pretty similar sound but a little more indie. 2. The Dresden Dolls - Darker tone to their work but great nonetheless.
