Maybe I'll get some fried chicken from KFC... actually after looking down stairs I see that tonight's dinner will in fact be Curry Rice (at least thats a kind of Indian, food) Ovens are too small here and all of my American friends live in dorms, so same situation. Also my host family, obvously, wouldnt get the point of the holiday. I have to go to school today too.

Fried aubergines in yoghurt & garlic

Coarse bulgur wheat cooked with onions, vermicelli & vegetable stock
Some sort of dough dumplings fried in olive oil with sesame & honey (found the recipe in a book with Hellenic recipes from antiquity).
Probably something else too as a starter, undecided.

I made a pumpkin pie/cheesecake thingy from scratch and it was a hit. I'm happy. Now I'm going to lapse into a food coma.

My wife thought of making one, but went with regular cheesecake instead. We still have four hours until dinner, so...

Get a smaller goose.

I cooked the turkey, my wife did the rest.
Butternut squash soup, artichoke with parmesan & bread crumbs (yummerz!) brussel sprouts, red cabbage, mashed sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie. Everyone else had wine I drank hoegaarden.

Tried something new with the turkey. Divided the dark meat from the breast. Roasted the breast and braised the legs and wings. Made gravy from the braising pot.
