apparently I didn't look at the initial picture close enough, I thought that jacket was black. Now that I see it's brown, I love it even more... wow. :fonz:

Congrats to all the expecting dads out there, tis the season! Three grabs yesterday...

For some reason these AE Manhattan wholecuts were just sitting there on a cart that had rolled out from the back before I got there. 12D… And on their most snug 0 last. Might try to have them stretched a bit and see if they'll work for me. Otherwise going to that site. This was after a little Renovateur lovin'.

Never seen this show, but I like some of the actors on it and have heard it was good. For $7.99, I figured I'd give the deluxe edition series set a try… All the disks are minty though the box is a bit beat. Also comes with an "in memoriam" book discussing each character and includes 2 CDs of songs from the soundtrack. Found sitting amidst the VHS tapes, remembered reading about the set on Uncrate when this edition was released.

Carts were rolling out left and right while I was there, I was surprised to grab this completely uncontested. She's no Leica but that 1.9 lens is spot free.

Original Canon Canonet. Amazingly the selenium meter cell still works, and is only off by a stop or so (though I'll use her in full manual). I felt the $19.99 price was a bit steep as money's a bit tight right now, but I couldn't let her go. We'll see if she goes back or not. One thing I will keep regardless, the already shot roll of film that was still inside. Gotta love a mystery roll!

Nice scores. I'd love to score a Leica at the thrift shop that would be insane. Best I have gotten are Canon A-1 and AE1 Program. Usually pass on them unless they are $5-10 with lens. Did see a Minolta SRT101 with a 50mm 1.4 yesterday but they wanted $45 for it.

Nice camera. Even though 20 bucks is kinda steep, it's only a couple bucks more than I'm currently paying for single roll of film + development costs (no access to a dark room, currently). Sometimes I think that shooting on film is the stupidest hobby one can have. It's also fluctuates between being the the least/most rewarding activity in my life, which is likely the reason it keeps my interest.

You'll be a millionaire if that camera was owned by Johnny Carson ...

Is there a code I'm missing? I'm seeing them for $49.90. Great price either way.

I thrifted a pair of Uniqlos(not selvedge) a month or so ago for myself in my usual size. They were about 2" too big in the waist and were so tight in the thighs that I would not have gone out in public. And these were the regular fit, not the slim.
