I think that would be a 38S. I've always heard that you measure flat armpit-to-armpit, then subtract 2" from that. So 40" P2P =38 chest. Sounds like a pretty slim waist though, much more so than usual. 18" shoulders are a little broad for a 36 though, so I'd still call it a 38.

Thats not a slim waist for a 38S, thats actually an unusually large waist for a 38s.

That waist is more in line with my chest and suit size 42.

I am assuming he meant the jacket waist, not the pants waist. A 4" waist suppression would be considered a athletic cut, while 2" is a standard cut.

38S is correct. But the sleeves are HELLA short even for a short size.

Yup, just blazer, no pants.  Sleeves are ridiculously short, about an inch and a half of material in there to be used...

It's a navy blazer, so no pants. Gold buttons are a give-away.

New territory for you Eazye, like the feel. but it needs a "Fitted" t-shirt.  the T is just too big. fitted cotton crew neck(even a retro one?) , and it is pure win!

on a side note, Japanese Denim UNIQLO selvedge is only $40???????   saw it today and nearly fainted.   fair Denims for the less demanding.     maybe my new "DAD" jeans.
