Thrift gods been good to me this week:

Etro, Zegna, Borrelli, Caliban, db vintage Burberrys

But why do the Italians have to make such short shirt sleeves? Recently found some Canali, Gherardi + the shirts pictured above in my neck size, but the sleeves are always at least an inch too short..

Wait, Jamie, you thrifted SG's and didn't take a picture of them? Please change that and send them to me if they're my size.

Call me an idiot! Go ahead. I can take it.

Two days ago, I passed on a pair of bench made, Italian PRL suede single strap loafers. They were kind of pricey at $25 and when I mentioned them here a few pages back, #ridethecliche pm'd me asking about them. I went back. They were there but when I looked at them again, I decided to try them on my 10D dogs just for grins.

They fit me!

Good for me but not so much for rtc as he needed them to be much smaller. I kopped. Minor damage on the sole of the toe with a crappy repair but I'll pay to have that fixed.

my advice walk through inner harbor but don't eat or drink there, total tourist trap.   You wanna get your drink on in Fells Point.  Between Inner Harbor and Fells Point is Harbor East and also Little Italy both with good restaurants.   Chazz Palminteri opened a restaurant a year or so ago that has some great pasta and pizza http://www.chazzbronxoriginal.com

Also Koopers Tavern, and also for breakfast Blue Moon Cafe, a good friend of my wife owns it and it is the bomb  http://bluemoonbaltimore.com

Also in Fells Point the oldest saloon http://www.thehorsebaltimore.com

Fells Point has a lot of character, with lots of old historic row homes.

Ah, great! I'm conferencing at Marriott Inner Harbor and staying across the street, so I'll try to do some exploring in the areas above.

Fells Point, Little Italy, Harbor East are all easy walking distance from the Inner Harbor.  Just don't explore north of those area's too far.  If it starts looking like a 3rd world country turn around quickly lol

Glad to hear they worked Digg! Gmmcl warned me that they fit big so I'm probably an 8 in their shoes tbh. I usually wear lace ups since I'm pretty unlucky with loafers most of the time.

Gentlemen, thank you for all the well wishes!

@Barrel and Sparrow, I definitely knew right when it happened that something was wrong (there was an audible pop, followed by intense pain) I didn't have insurance at the time, so I just dealt with it. It's one of those things that goes away....until you twist it or land on it the wrong way. Long story short, it's been acting up something fierce lately and now I have really good insurance, so I thought it was time to get it taken care of.

Again, thank you everybody for your concern. The kindness and generosity of all you guys on this thread never ceases to warm my heart. satisfied.gif
