Found these three Brioni sport shirts yesterday, my size (M) but patterns are really not my style.

If only it was thrifting full time.  I could treasure hunt 24/7. It's the business end that is less fun, but of course that's where the $ is.

I just cut out all fast food and lost 35lbs in about a year.

Great haul!

Daily activity, workouts, sex, etc all factor into this.

I like to stress body composition is more important than weight. Working towards a better body composition will make you look better than just dropping weight. Lifting weights is what does this.

For a home gym, get a barbell with weights and a seat. Your best lifts are compound lifts. Squats, Bench Press, and Deadlifts. I will -STRESS- your form needs to be good. Bad form will hurt you. A lot. Before a barbell and weights you can do push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, etc. One of the -BEST- starting programs for weight lifting is Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe.

Cardio is pure calorie loss. It's extra you can tack on after a good lifting workout, but I wouldn't do it before because it'll affect your lifts. Don't overwork yourself either. It's counterproductive.

Please add bent over barbell rows to that list. You gotta have a strong upper back, too!

Hmmm, it's been awhile since I took an exercise physiology class but I've always though Cardio is more of a fat burning work out while anaerobic training, ie. weight training is a carb burning work out. BRB, gonna go do some skull crushers.

Hmmm, why are most of your pics side ways?

@capnwes I've lost 30 lbs. in 2 months by eating nothing more than veggies and meat, plus taking vitamin supplements, and weight training 6 days a week for 45 min. to an hour a day, with no cardio. It's all about the diet, really. I break up my meals into 6 to 7 a day. All small meals. That way I don't feel hungry at all. I don't take any protein supplements. I eat about anywhere from 6 to 10 egg whites a day, hard boiled, plus all the chicken and fish I can eat. lol Let us know how you do!

Oh yeah, speaking of lifting, I once had a skinny trainer at some gym told me I'm lifting wrong or some shit like that...I think I was doing flat bench and I wasn't letting the bar touch my chest or something like that...I was in my top shape at that time, 190 lbs. 13% body fat. I was like BRO!

which car was this?   ferrari has more soul??   you must be kidding...  you underestimate the soul that goes in to "Jap Muscle" cars, THE soul, and pride, of japan's engineering prowess.

it's no secret that i loathe ferrari's, but i just want you guys to be safe, and in Spoo's "wow factor" 100k category?  i would go with an Audi R8, Honda NSX (turbo'd), or a 2011 GTR.

-  well made cars.

most importantly, research your options before buying,  with most companies offering at least one model with a defect, choose one that has no known issues.  -  Like mine :D

@div25sec9  , jelly. Supra's are tits!!!!!!!.   nearly bought a mk3 type r twin turbo last year.  still think about it.......... hmmmmm.....

if Spoo's has been declared safe, i'm glad about that.i really do like Spoo, and voice concern meaning well.

and still look forward to the SF Race in summer.   who's game?

What your body metabolizes for energy is a function of energetics and intensity not the specific 'sport' one is partaking in.

Your body's zones are unique though they fall into ranges based on your lactic acid buffering capabilities. Usually, these are put in heart rate zones, but fat metabolism is least energy utilizing and occurs in the so called cardio range, which adjusts into carb utilization, and then can even cannibalize muscle though this happens more for endurance athletes that don't eat well during work outs.

At the end of the day calories in

That's why people lose weight doing everything from only cardio to only lifting and everything in between. It's just science.
