Adding this here so I can save my 2000th post for something helpful or inflammatory...

I don't always pick up pleated dress pants, but when I do, thinking they're Berle, they turn out to be Belvest....

Marshalls is killing me. We're in final markdown territory, meaning this (http://www.ln-cc.com/en/northamerica/lanvin/lanvin-mens-blouson-bomber-jacket/invt/lan0114034nav?gclid=COqks4_17LsCFWUV7Aod8mAAwg) is $255.

Nothing's in my size.

I'm sorry but that is one ugly jacket, looks like something I passed on at Wal-Mart in 1994

btw stopped at my local TjMaxx and Marshalls today as well, had some interesting pieces but still priced too high

Did a little spelunking over lunch. Came home with a paul stuart orphan jacket, but it's super 150s, navy, and in good condition. Size 44.

Also picked up a theory slim fit men's jacket in grey. Size 38r.

I wouldn't wear such a thing, but the 39 R Brioni tux had me tempted at $755, as well as the current label cashmere canal sportcoat at $250.

But I need to buy cribs and strollers and things.

Haha yeah some of the fashion forward stuff just is not my cup of tea but i'll flip it for all its worth :)   I'm ok with my Zegna Tux for $15 :)

I would possibly be tempted by a Canali Cashmere SC at $250 though.

I've got my eye on some Cucinelli pants at my local store but they haven't been marked down yet.

I've been shouted down in this thread for making comments like that here...

Everyone has their own sense of style. What you find hideous, others may love. To each his own.

After being couped up in the house for 3 days straight I had to get out. Got up to 3 degrees this afternoon! Woo hoo! Gassed up the car and ran some errands. Thrift withdrawals kicked in so I hit some shops while I was out. Came out 0/5. Oh well. I did stop by a discount store and picked up these D.L. & Co candles for $10 a pop. So excited. Haven't seen D.L. candles in the discount stores in over a year. They had a bunch of Thorn Apple (my favorite scent from them) candles last year for $25 each. Bought them all. I'm currently on my last one, maybe 4 hours left on it.

jgill79 & tben:

Holla at me via PM with measurements and mailing addresses.  I've got some things I'd like to offer up to you two, but there will be options and I may need sizes.  Super busy at the moment, so don't dispair if I don't get back immediately.

Grazie.

No offense man, but you can come off as kind of a dick sometimes. And while you have become increasingly better at providing help to certain individuals, I used to notice that you also provided a lot of misinformation. Just a thought, maybe quit being so snarky, because at one time, you needed help too. Plus GMH generally knows his stuff, and doesn't often ask for help, so maybe help him if you can?

Hug it out guys. You're all alright.

Should I say something stupid to divert attention again?

I did learn something cool today.

I found a H. Freeman jacket today that I picked up and was looking for the pants, but cuoldn't find them. The jacket was in pretty good condition and then I realized that the breast pocket on the inside had a tom james logo. Turns out that H. Freeman makes some of their jackets.

Wohoo, i learned something today. I'm guessing these aren't a pickup unless the suits are something special (pattern or otherwise). I figure the quality isn't up to the same level is H. Freeman self branded, but I'm guessing there are exceptions.
