Digmenow, congrats on the weight loss.  I took 25lbs off this year, about 10 from where I want to be.  Well done.

Mt. Rushmore when it's done...eventually.  Wild West and dinosaur attractions etc - enough to do to keep you busy for a number of days and get it off your list.  :)

So remember this guy that I picked on tuesday?

Some research turned up the following:

1) Info on the designer: http://www.michalsky.com/en/michael-michalsky/

2) Online store: http://www.michalsky.com/shop/en/

(Men: http://www.michalsky.com/shop/en/men/jackets/)

3) Info on collections: http://www.michalsky.com/en/

Mens Collection: http://www.michalsky.com/shop/en/men/

Just an FYI in case someone runs into the label again. I'd say that this was atleast as good a pickup for me as the our legacy blazer! And probably a first for the thread, no?

Picked this up recently, thought it was pretty nice. Not sure if its real or not. Any ideas? Either way, is this too large for a pocket square? Looked around for average sizes and this measures about 22"x22"

I find it's very hard to stuff something of that size into the lapel pocket of a jacket in an elegant manner.  I end up with an unsightly lump in the pocket.

Smaller is better, as far as I can figure, when it comes to pocket squares.

That's just me, I don't really know what I'm doing with PS though.

Those are nice. Clapp made some great shoes back in the day. I've never seen that pattern, either - the vamp is scalloped to create the illusion of a wingtip and stitched over the toe piece. Strange, but cool.

Ok i'm still shaking like a leaf as the adrenaline fades. Hit up a local shop on my lunch break. Big finds. Anyway found a pair of Cole Haan Oxfords Benchmade in England. Those usually made by Cheaney???

I dropped 50 pounds in a year, but recently put on about 10-15lb of it holiday weight. time to get back on track.

By the way that haul i spoke of on my lunch break consisted of Kiton Suit, my first!!. Oh and a Kiton Cashmere coat, another first, and a Kiton Cashmere blazer. Kiton cord pants, Zanella unicorns, 3 pair of like new AE shoes in my size with AE shoe trees, couple Jil Sander unstructured SC's.

Gotta say that was a heck of a lunch break. Was crazy, I felt like I was robbing the place lol

Picked up a couple things yesterday.

Polo made in USA green camelhair jacket, single vent, 46R. Available

Then, this Polo corduroy piece. A few interesting details, working buttonholes, throat latch, wooden buttons. Also NWT. Available as well.

Also picked up these ties for myself along with a few BB shirts and a couple Polo sweaters. To make everything better, the store where I bought the two jackets was running a 5 for $5 deal on all clothing so I also grabbed a sweet Saks Fifth sweater.

Oh my gosh, that cord PRL is amazing. Update your post with sizes if you can!

Looks like Cheaney made some as well as AS and CJ. Post a pic of the sole/label and people might be able to help.
