I found a pleated front tie from Brioni a few years ago. Definitely the nicest and coolest Brioni tie I've found to date. They also bring in a considerable amount of money, resale-wise. I think mine sold for north of $100. Pretty good for a used tie! I think someone else found a pleated Ricci on here before as well.

Finally picked up this mother at my local evil thrift's half-off sale. They wanted 60 for it  originally. (it was next to a polyester tuxedo tagged for a hundo) and management wouldn't budge. Had to wait a week and get it for 30. For-profit too. Rargh. Can't wait to get back to Seattle. Needs a reweave, but still...

Brioni, 40r, flat front. Figured it was still probably worth the buy.

apologies for the garbage pics. DSLR is back on west coast

That would be me...because I had to PM you to figure out how the hell to describe that thing on ebay. I can't remember what it sold for but it was up around $70ish.

That's a beautiful suit, and the trousers being flat front are a big plus! I'd even say it would have been a good deal at $60.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw that label. It's in pretty minty shape too. Tagged small.

Ha I'm drooling over both the Borrelli and the Brioni suits that were found in my size today... Nice finds, guys.

Checked through the label thread - couldn't find this one. It's on a Prada suit. Any ideas?

After finding that Sierra Designs 60/40 about two weeks ago, I got all psyched today when stumbling across something similar...

Turns out, it's a weird vintage 60/40-esque thing made from a KIT in the early 70s. Not a ton of information on it, but it's still pretty cool...
But just look at that lining! (Click to show)

Also, the belt of a true badass... biggrin.gif

I also found a pile of vintage tweed hats. Dunn & Co Harris Tweed, Churchill Ltd, Dobbs, Stetson, all pretty sweet. If anyone is interested, I could post pics...
