I just got some Alden full-strap loafers in 9.5. I could't continue to stuff my feet in them, so here they are.

EXACTLY, I am trying to find the other fat car salesman that is left. There's only two of them out there.

Just very minor success today. Shirts by Eton and Issey Miyake, and a nice Lewin tie.

Can anyone confirm this as real/fake?

Although I can't absolutely confirm, it looks authentic from what I know from this website: http://ggyy5978.com/index.php

Looks very nice too, great find.

Also found a cool light tan herringbone Lands End jacket, will be great for casual wear. And finally a couple of pairs of winter weight wool polo trousers.

Great find, especially at just $10

Swung by a very wealthy doctor's estate sale today. Second day it's been going on. I should have went yesterday - looks like I missed some great stuff. I found lots of shoe bags from Alden Custom and Edward Green. Alas, no shoes though. All that were left were a bunch of worn out Bally shoes. I did get a cool vintage umbrella for $1 and a 1930s art deco rotary phone for $3.

Other wise, its desert here.

I have been looking for a nice beige unlined blazer for the summer and today I found a great one for $4.99 at a Salvation Army which pretty cool. Its from RW&Co which clearly isnt the pinacle of quality but it looks pretty good and for $5 I really have no regrets if it doesnt last long. It looks to have never really been worn since it still has the pockets and vent sewn shut.

So: I have learned the best time to arrive at a thrift store. It is immediately after Will from A Suitable Wardrobe drops off his donation . Thanks, Will!
