The official thrift/discount store bragging thread - Page 5891

Got to hit a couple of stores with my sons today -

One of the stores is slowly putting out items from one particular donor that matches my dimensions...

Added more unusual Italian labels to my collection:

Sartoria di Venzia - functioning buttons and double vent

Nervesa - also functioning buttons and double vent

Both appear to have been made by the same manufacturer - here's the content tags with an "N" on them.. Guessing Nervesa made for both.

Warning: Spoiler! - Manufacturer tags (Click to show)

Got a black blazer from Samuelsohn with LP 110s fabric:

Found a few old ties - knit, crochet or whatnot..  Sulka, Brooks Bros  and unknown for Neiman Marcus with lambswool.

Then came across some old Aldens in my size.  No real damage to speak of in terms of scratches - but has moderate wear.  Going to try some different leather care product (Griots for my car leather) on here before starting a polishing cycle.  Is that a stupid idea?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Oh she does. She was along for the ride and was thrilled when I told her the resale value of the stuff.

Then when we got home, she noticed about 15 ties, 10 shirts, 6 pairs of pants and the St. Andrews overcoat casually blended into our personal closet. shog[1].gif

I also found my first pair of ostrich boots (made by El General). They weren't in good enough condition for the price GW wanted for them, but it was cool to see something like that in the wild!

Not that I smoke, but I dig this one.. the grain looks like smoke and flames.  Is that a special maple?

Any idea on the age of this one? (Click to show)

41 Short, you say? happy.gif

I'll have to PM you my address so you can send it to me for closer inspection. I should be able to give you an approximate age by, oh say Spring '14. How's that work for you? marchal.gif

You need to move out of my territory by the end of the year.

Jk

Seriously. Move.
