That first jacket I would have passed on. No-name Italian label and looks pretty dated. The second one is cool. One of many little-known Euro labels I'm sure. Looks like something that would be sold on Yoox.

Lately the stores are barren. Did not buy anything, although was temped by an Invertere jacket and a Donegal Mist.

Heh, thanks. The dark navy Zegna is great, and was the $1.50 color as opposed to it's marked up color (I did see the small stain, but I think it's workable)

Thank god for the sale, tho, that store marks up the crap outta their ties.

yoox was my exact thought

yeah looking back at the first one I thought it was styled way better until I actually took it home and looked at the gorge and button stance, fabric is awesome though could make a cool tie or pocket square

Ian, Pretty sure that fabric is cotton/wool.

I'm used to paying $15 for taking in at the waist.

Just be careful cuz once the alcohol makes contact the ink will spread. You gotta have that ninja fast hands! I was able to get a stain out of suede using this method, too! Works pretty damn well!

thanks guys, first sportcoat is getting cut up into scrap for ties and pocket squares,
also I know I don't have near as much inventory as you guys and I get rid of it fairly quickly but I still find some stuff I forgot about sometimes, for instance a made in austria camel hair duffle coat with detachable hood that fits me perfectly!!!!

Thanks guys for the info on the stain. I will try it tonight.

There was 15 borrelli ties but I left a few borrellis and purple labels because off statins and pulls.

That's about all the brag worthy stuff I got.

I was power scrolling through and this stopped me dead in my tracks. Nicely done.

green_machine: Incredible haul. I don't think I'd rub alcohol on a printed silk Hermes tie. Send it to TieCrafters/Rave Fabricare or sell it as is.

Yeah, agreed.  I actually tried exactly this with a printed Hermes and it made it worse.  Luckily, I have the most amazing dry cleaner around, and he managed to fix it the point that it's almost entirely undetectable.
