On another topic: Discovered a wholly unethical (but acceptable) way to get high-end merch from the "good" Marshalls / TJX on the super-cheap.  It's really smarmy and I discovered it by accident.  I feel dirty.  I won't be doing it again and it only happened once.  There.  I've confessed and feel better and swear I'll never take advantage of it again.

Hmmm...

This is why I look at this thread. These are all awesome.

You should probably confess all the way by telling us exactly, in detail, what it is you did so that you can be truly absolved. Y'know?

Staying in downtown Houston for a conference. Will have some free time Tuesday afternoon/evening. Any thrifty ideas?

The Saint Vincent de Paul's are usually a visit for me when I visit Houston.

Sorry was in the middle of something a quick sec meant to expand on this. The St Vincent de Pauls are worth a visit. Prices can be iffy but they have good stuff whenever I visit. Goodwill opened up a bunch of stores or something in the area so a ton of Goodwill Selects are around but when I went I couldn't find so much as a brooks brothers tie.. Slightly higher prices than Dallas. Value Village is another place to go. There's two in Houston. I found 3x Zegna Coutures, 3x Stefano Ricci, and 5x Hermes ties at a single one along with a few other goodies. The other one didn't yield the same results, sadly. I can't remember which one I went to.

Sigh.  Well, I guess I have some pictures to take tomorrow.  There goes my relaxing weekend...

Lol, my parents use to have a few of these just not the human centipede style. I gave one to one of my friend's sister for her 8th birthday or something.

But, for now: so, this happened. (Click to show)

That's one continuous fur scarf thing.  Wat.  It's like a recreation of the Human Centipede, with furry things.

Geez. Lighten up guys. It's a fox stole from around the 1930's/50's. Google it. People used to wear fur regularly because The North Face hadn't been invented yet. It was appropriate for its time which is thankfully gone, now. Someday, someone will find our closets full of calfskin (baby cows, no?) Allen Edmonds and Aldens and such and think us barbaric for what we put those animals through just to stylishly protect our feet.

My shoes don't stare at me.

Right.  I think the creepiness factor is the fact that it's essentially a semi-taxidermied animal head and pelt...with eyes and shit.

Nice car coat you got there. Available? Looks like my size.
Here's a nice link to dating their labels:

That coat reminds me of this BAPE coat I've had for the past few years.

Totally took it out recently for the MACKLEMORE "WHITE LINES" video shoot a few months ago. Yay!

I need to get on the ball and list this thing since it's too big for me now.
