saw a canali suit last night while doing a quick walk through the local GW. didn't pick it up as i thought higher quality lines (canali included) would have working cuffs. this suit didn't. is that a good pass?

Not really a good pass if lack of working cuffs was your only reason.

Just because it doesn't have working cuffs doesn't mean it's not a nice suit. I would have picked it up (depending on price, size, condition).

I think it depends on the suit. If it was a 20 year old Canali in bad shape, probably a good pass. If it was recent, bad pass. There's plenty of fantastic suits out there without working cuffs. One aspect can't be judged well in a vacuum.

It's always nice to walk up to a tie rack and see Canali sticking out like a sore thumb.

So , why are all the quoted pics so blurry lately? Or is it just me?

They are blurry.

30 bucks for a full suit? That's twice the price here unless it's Hugo Boss/Armani then it's 30.

I found a Luciano Barbera Double Breasted Suit but when I got home I found out one of the cuff buttons was missing =(. Also found a solid gold Brioni tie and following the Spoo logic a cheaply price Fioravanti Cashmere orphan.

Edit: Oh and a Mezzlan Crocodile Belt in a bit of a rough condition.

Dallas is a pretty big city I wonder why it hasn't fluctuated here yet. Not that I'm complaining. Blazers go for 8, Suits 15, Shirts 4, Ties 1.50

Same for Austin, in my experience, depending on if it's a Boutique GW or not.

It can get up there to 100 easy here

$1.90 here, though it also fluctuates wildly, depending on where you are. Some boutique spots price their shit in the $100's. I generally stay away from those places.
