arrrrrgh! (Click to show)

This is one of those things if you bought it for personal use....who cares who it's made by. You can wear it a couple times and redonate it. If you bought it to sell....ya you're hosed.

Got it! Full price of $4 instead of yesterday's deal at $3. plain.gif It's in the washer right now to see if I can restore it to full fluffy glory. Silk sounds nice but I need something for warmth. The house stays around 68 degrees through the Winter.

Oh well, I was scanning the women's outerwear for misplaced men's jackets and found two barn coats for SWMBO, an all brown Lands End and a seafoam green LL Bean. I texted pics to her and she liked them so I got to use the household account instead of my thrift funds so I suppose that's a score as well!

Thrift Fit. (Click to show)
I'll post it in the other thread as well but to me, this will always be the place for them.

Alpha CWU 36P Summer flight jacket
Eddie Bauer button shawl collar
Lands End flannel shirt
Lanesboro solid black cotton tee
Dockers D1
Danner w/Goretex
All thrifted

^ Those Bijan suits need to be first in your order or posting happy.gif

I believe (someone correct m) that they're fairly recent. At the very least, worthwhile.

As far as the Marlboro and Sisley, I assume you're in Europe...I always leave it. The quality leaves a lot to be desired. My wife likes some of Sisley's womenswear, but she'd doubtfully pay full-price.

Second thought (because I realized there is BB), maybe you're in the US? In that case, not sure on the Sisley and Marlboro.

I'm posting this again because it got lost in some previous brouhaha, and I'm fairly interested in the overcoat.

Can anybody give me any info/opinions on this overcoat?  I know Raleighs was a quality store but now out of business.  I saw it at GW and couldn't put it down for some reason.  Sorry for the pic quality, I'm still working on a lighting/display setup.  Any info here is good info.  The coat is time-stamped Jan. of 1966, and needs some very minor stitch-work done.

Thanks in advance for any help.
