Thrifted gifted to us by our relatives! We've never owned any full dinning sets before! Super stoked! Who is coming over for dinner? :D

I am, how is tomorrow is that good for you? Your fiance wouldn't be a little creeped out some dude you met on the internet invited himself over? :lookaround:  You live near SF right? I have 11 hours to kill tomorrow after a meeting. Catching the Red Eye back to Boston. (I am kidding about coming over, I am traveling with my boss so we are gonna walk around down town for the afternoon).

EDIT: Holy crap I re-read what I posted and would like to apologize to Ian for a wise crack I made about his stream of consciousness method of posting.

I do wear slim jeans quite often, but in the case of the particular fit you were critiquing, I was wearing a suit. Having said that, I need to find a new way to take my pics because I always look top-heavy in that mirror set-up.

Re: Your challenge, that sounds kind of stupid, and I have no idea how we would do it because I don't often wear thrifted items. If you really want to, we can, although I think this has annoyed the thread enough as is. For what it's worth, you seem like a nice fellow and I don't have any ill will toward you.

Just curious if you are serious or bored and trying to get a rise out of people. To answer your question seriously, no London Fog is a dime a dozen. I see 100's every time I go out and not worth it unless you need a cheap coat for yourself. I think people are getting annoyed with you because you keep asking about every little thing you find thrifting. About 2 months ago we had another guy exactly like that, posting a bunch of lower tier stuff including London Fog and got so much shit he finally stopped coming back. You need to read this thread (THE ENTIRE THING), if you do almost everything you need to know about thrifting is in it. Good luck.

Lol, we are more than happy to host SF members. Our lives have been enriched with all the wonderful folks we've meet on this thread, not to mention I've gained 3 wardrobe full of men's wear! Seriously, we don't mind being hosts to thread members given we think/feel we could trust you ie. we have to get to know you through PM, Skype, and etc. (Wow, that last sentence sounded kinda awkward...):satisfied:

But for reals though, if any members are thinking about coming to SF for vacation or whatever, PM me! Thread regulars only...Juss say'n...I'm still waiting for Wes and his wife...

BIG BIG MISTAKE! Everyone does this, and everyone winds up with a big pile of shit they need to re-donate. It is a much better idea to learn before you start buying lots of stuff. At the minimum get the eBay app and use that to get an idea of somethings value (even if not for flipping, it will give you an idea of desireable brands). 20 pages deep? There are 2766 pages, at the rate you are reading, President Clinton will be swearing in by the time you catch up!

Good to know, might be a little pre-emptive but I'm going to SF sometiime in March and was hoping to meet up with any locals/do several thrift runs. I'll be in touch as the time comes.

Also while we are the subject, if anyone finds themselves in Boston, hit me up. Always down to grab a beer!
