This cocksucker completely destroyed the bottoms of the bags so that his pictures would reflect his claims to ebay. On top of that, his negative feedback fucked with my powerseller status and now paypal is holding all my payments for 21 days! What the fuck! I just got completely screwed by this motherfucker!

Oh man, I'd be livid! I feel for ya man, I've been there before (some of you folks who've been around a few years likely remember the Polo bear sweater.). Not exactly the same but similar.

The thing I don't understand is how can one bad transaction mess up an account in otherwise good standing? I can understand multiple bad transactions causing eBay to intervene but one? That's ridiculous. Raise some hell with eBay. Tip: ask for a supervisor right off the bat. Don't deal with customer service reps. They will just piss you off so you hang up and they get rid of you.

Good luck, Easy. Hope to hear some good news soon!
eBay rant (Click to show)

eBay is really getting on my nerves lately. eBay links any accounts together that are logged in from the same IP multiple times. She's logged in to her eBay before while at my parent's place for various occasions. A couple weeks ago my wife got a email notice that her account had a selling restriction put on it because it was linked to my brother's account and his was suspended for having too many negatives. She called them up and yelled at them. They basically told her that it was like he committed a crime and she was going to jail for it and there was nothing she could do.

Had a rather interesting day today.

Passed on this shirt because I could find nothing about it. Had some very cool details though (chest pocket w/ twine button loop, etc). Cut like a woman's (very small and short) but buttoned like a men's. Full picture came out blurry so no use in posting that. Bad pass?

Then this piece reminded me of why I hate Halloween at the thrift stores. Some ass-clown destroyed this beautiful Belvest blazer. Recent. Side vented. Eu 52 R. Had a big rip on the back. Looks like they spilled pop on the front near the lapels. Not only that but they decided to "shorten" it. ffffuuuu.gifbaldy[1].gif

I did manage to find a few cool things.

Icebreaker. Men's XXL. Fits like an L-XL. Keeper for now.

Adam Lipes blouse for the Mrs.

Cool VIctorian-era kerosene lamp. Made by B&H. Sadly the original glass chimney is long gone. It appears someone dinged the top up pretty good as well. Maybe fixable? Who knows. In very nice shape otherwise for it's age.

Open an "Item received not as sent" (or something like that) claim. It's a sort of appeals claim that should cover your losses or at least a good portion of them.

This entire convo should be moved to the ebay thread, BUT just and FYI ebay changed the policy where they refund you if you dont receive the item back in the same condition. They might still side with you and remove feedback, etc etc but it was costing them too much money to refund people. They not suggest you buy insurance and take it up with the usps insurance or the shipcover insurance. This is coming from an appeals manager in the resolution center who was super helpful and nice.

Ha! Yes he has some issues but that is a good suggestion. Maybe I will go "thrift" one from my fiances drawer. I am also considering cutting up a pool noodle to make arms.

Any help on dating this NWT BB shirt I copped at a thrift store last week?

That punch code on the tag was somewhat of a predecessor to the barcode which came into being in the early 80's. I'd say late 70's.

1974 custom-made wool suit. Flat-front pants, canvassed, horn buttons, crazy lining. Way too small for me at about a 34L.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Edit: here's the picture I used in the listing, in which you can see the bottom is still intact.

That's awful. Shared your story with my wife and she gave me an icy stare and said if it had happened to her, there would be no end to her vengeance.

"Sometimes I don't know if I fear how much I love my wife, or love how much I fear her."

Seriously though, I'd have that dude on every awful mailing list and make sure Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses are on his doorstep first thing in the morning (no offense intended to either religious group intended).

Had that moment today where I realized I've been to the store after you...

Didn't find anything today.

Absolutely no idea who this seller is (certainly no connection) but one of our local small guys needs to buy this thing:
