Something like this, but for flipping?

Need help guys. picked up these RRL today. size says 29 measures 16 1/2" across rn #41381. design on the pocket leads me to believe these are women's jeans. Can anyone else confirm or perhaps chime in with an opinion?

I don't know, a friend of mine has some Balmain jeans that look like awful mall-brand pre-faded crap, but apparently cost $2k.

Unless that suit is just a fake, it seems too new to be licensed, and it's not the Pierre line either.

Seems a lot of work on this suit to be a fake. Eh - not my size so will toss on ebay with a fat BIN and see what happens.

RRL jeans only come in inch sizes (not women's sizes like 10, 12 etc) that I have seen, so I believe they can be unisex.

The good Balmain has a black label.

This is the stuff right before Christophe Decarnin took over, so I think it was Oscar de la Renta heading it? Hence the classic looking suit and not some extremely fashion forward stuff.

Thanks for all the positive comments fellas! Hans, I was keeping an eye out for about the same amount of time. The RLPL version was the one I was originally looking to get, but this one popped up on my radar, cost about $1k less, and is perfect!

Inside, the pockets were a fat guy in underwear (sumo wrestler) in read on a dark blue field.

Red Monkey's (RMC) Are a high level Japanese denim on par with Ted's, studio D' Artisan etc, and can be worn tastefully. if a size 31, i can lighten your load. :hide:

not an easy flip, as collective knowledge is limited, and buyers few. some other members here might want them in a trade.

Unfortunately, if I remember correctly, they were closer to a 36, but I may go back for them, just to see if they are still there. Thanks for the info!

I have no specific knowledge of RRL but it's not uncommon for wimmins stuff to be labeled smaller than it actually is, because it makes them think their butts aren't as big as they really are. I believe the term is "vanity sizing." Also, the exact opposite happened to me last week. Picked up a pair of 501s in 33x34 without trying them on because, you know, I'm a 33x34. Get them home and I can't button them and it looks like I'm waiting for a flood, pull out the tape measure and they're really 30x32. Either they were mislabeled or the previous owner stuck them in the dryer or something.
