Great advice - thanks!

I did leave a few that looked older, but more to do with the god awful pattern rather than the label. I know this might be the same as how long is a piece of string, but what do Zegna ties sell for on eBay (on average)? Would be good to know whether it pays to be picky, or just buy everything I see :)

regarding gray, flat-front pants...I gave my dad a pair of solid gray brooks brothers flat front pants to wear and a week later he washed and dried them and ruined them

You sure about this? Isn't this that label? Maybe you just throw the word vintage out there and it becomes desirable...

EDIT: Not implying I know better, I don't. I am just curious if that is the same label and why that particular tie is selling for that much. Is it just the pattern?

Thanks guys.  From the Sac area.  But I spend a lot of time in the Bay Area.  The coat was found in between.

Thanks Chet, very helpful to get a positive review as I'm in the same boat as Rando. Can't thrift a good pair for the life of me. Will probably give these a shot. Another Uniqlo shoutout for something a little bit different, I grabbed a couple pair of Steteco shorts and like them a lot for around the house loungewear/underwear. Pretty comfy and on steep sale, will throw a few more on if I snag those pants.

Rest of my finds this evening.

Although I wasn't able to find the pants for the Oxxford above - I did find the pants to this Hickey Freeman. Tagged 42L, but measures like a 44L and fits me well. Pants must be around a 34 and fit well too. Can't decide if I'll keep as it isn't often I find a suit OTR that fits.

Pants

Top to Bottom - Gray Zanella 33, Beige Canali 34, BB made in USA

Surprisingly Zanella is a cherry pop for me. Seen plenty, but these are first to come home as all others had defects.

AppleMark

More Pants -

On left is pair I was hoping would fit me, but alas too small. Country Britches - heavy wool/tweed-like with cool pocket on front. Not sure if worth it, but bought mainly sizing up fit for myself as I didn't have time to try on.

Other pair is a Hugo Boss Orphan that I didn't see jacket anywhere.

Big time Cherry Popped!

First Kiton anything. Wow are the MOP buttons on these huge. It was funny seeing it next to a Tommy Bahama that was priced 5x what this was. Take it my local GW didn't know this brand.

This is just an interesting find for myself. Figured it would be good for a night out dancing with my GF or something. Interesting fabric made in Austria. Anybody?

Funny thing was last owner must have thought the same thing - see what was in the pocket on checking it when home.

Yeah, those will do more than OK. I have a pair that is pretty amazing, but I paid full retail for them at the Venice store while out in LA visiting my brother. Awesome shop, expensive wares.

I've come across some of their stuff as well. Never picked it up, since it didn't fit, but some of it seemed pretty decent. Good to know for future reference.
