I've found loads of stuff (Including some stuff that starts with B and ends with Rioni) but that can all wait, because this guy is the main event of amazeballedness:

Massimo Bizzocchi by Martin Greenfield. Linen blend, patch pockets, HIDDEN FUNCTIONAL CUFFS! 44.

Ken *Cough* Rockwell has more info: http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/compatibility-lens.htm)

What this means is that stuff people thought was worthless, like old prime lenses, are worth quite a bit. The good stuff, like a 50 f/1.2 can go for 300 bucks, and the really good stuff, like a 58 f/1.2 NOCT, 3 - 4 000$. For one lens.

A general pointer: A lot of glass and a lot of metal is good. Plastic zoom lenses from the 80's are not.

Had a jacket, got hot. Jelly roll, collar roll. Found some stuff, had some e-thrifts, had a good time catching up in the thread. Lots of misinformation going on several hundred posts ago, pretty funny. Anyway, will post a couple of finds later. In the meantime, e-thrift, sorry cpmac. But probably not going to fit anyway:

Guys, keep an eye out for the green label Brooks Brothers OCBDs in 15-31 or so (or newer Extra Slim Fit). Please.

I bought one from Mr. Brooks Brothers, and it's perfect.

Close enough that I'm always worried one of these two clowns has pulled down their haul by raping my territory and pillaging my women.

Exactly

I have been holding off on posting thrift fits because I got the sense folks found them a distraction. But if folks are interested, here's one.

Paul Stuart/Samuelsohn (Yes, I'm aware the lapels are pretty wide. And yes, I'm aware of the weather. But this jacket sells Sunday and I wanted to get one last use out of it.
Hawes & Curtis
BBBF
Angus MacBain
Allen Edmonds belt (not shown)
Brooks mainline
Panthy
Vintage Lloyd & Haig v cleat shell PTBs. I don't know how all you shell wearers keep your shoes so crease free. I brushed these literally for an hour on the trees, and wore them DOWN THE STAIRS and they looked like this.

The sweater seems to clash with jacket but I think individually both are nice. Without tie it wouldn't clash. With tie the sweater looks like it matches with tie not jacket

Pattern on jacket sweeet

Good feedback. I appreciate it. I agree, the pattern is great. But it's actually frustratingly difficult to integrate. For example, this fit built over weeks, with several different tie and sweater combos (jacket is too loose without). I thought the blue in the sweater played off the blue in the herringbone. And the reds in the tie played off the red-ish in the overcheck. I think IRL (colors are off in pic) it works a tad better, but maybe it doesn't work at all.

Anyway, Warning: SPAM ALERT! (Click to show)
It's up on the Bay, if you're a 43R and interested.

Don't love the tie or the bracelet but otherwise on point. I personally like your thrift fit pics. Aspirational and all that.

Yeah, I forgot I was even wearing it. My eldest is huge into bracelet making at the moment, and she gets a charge when I wear the ones she makes for me.

And thanks!

That trumps fashion every time. Wear a million of them. The #menswear crowd peacocking is one thing. This gets the seal of approval.

Edit: 50! Holiday exchange here I come!
