If that isn't Mrs. Spoo in his eBay listings, Spoo needs a big

for figuring how a married man can photograph beautiful women in next to nothing without a trip to divorce court.

He's not a business man, he's a business, man.

. . . Finally, had to pass on a white Brioni shirt because I didn't want to be bothered doing the treatment and don't usually think others would want to. I can probably go back and grab them if someone was interested. . .

What's the treatment? I have a few old white shirts that may benefit.

gallon of hot water and cup of white vinegar, soak for a couple of hours

rinse shirt and put in high concentration of hot water and oxyclean granules. About 2 scoops of the new stuff per gallon. Let sit for a day or so. take out and wash....shirts will look great

Thanks very much, Larson! Seems pretty easily done . . . and much needed here.

Just a PSA, I found a 40 R DB Navy with peak lapels Hickey Freeman for Barneys at my local stop. It is the older label and is vented. It was priced at $25. I can get to a forum member for cost plus shipping if anyone is interested.
Things are pretty dead in my neck of the woods. Hoping the stores will turn over soon so they get some new items in.

I didn't think snapping photos inside the shops would be appreciated, but the interiors are just incredible. T & A is like an old-school gentleman's club, mahogany everything and walls of shirts. One guy in there actually had a butler with him...

To keep on track with the thrifting info: I find the lick test (
stirpot.gif
) for MOP buttons is often required, but the buttons on their new shirts were very noticeably cold to just the finger. Does washing/thinning reduce that effect, or is it just the grade of MOP that would make the difference?

Bonus pic of who I think may have been Patrick Grant of Norton & Sons:

I find just touching the buttons to my cheek works as well, no need to lick.

Kind of dry out there today, sorry for the crappy pics, the lighting in my house sucks today.
The first Gitman Bros shirt I've found that fits me, and in a cool color combo too!

Been had sweet floral Liberty of London tie.

Anybody here attend Trinity College and want to commemorate it with a Vineyard Vines custom collection tie? No?

Chester Barrie for Saks Fifth Ave. 100% Cashmere sport coat. 2 button, single vented. Available.

Pink Floyd, Animals, The Wall, Joni Mitchell, Diana Ross & Marvin Gaye

edit: disregard the unsightly flap pocket on the jacket. :embar:
