Lol, I just cut down on my meal portions and on starch. I pretty much ate nothing but broccoli, mixed veggies, and chicken nuggets (yes, chicken nuggets from Costco, you know the same ones your kids eat). I put the hot asian cock sauce on mostly everything I eat! I pretty much ate 6 to 7 meals a day with lifting light to moderate weight for an hour a day plus I would do 10 to 15 minutes of abs work out a day. Did all that for 4 and a half month, and here I am today! My clothes fit much better now!!! :slayer:

Oh yeah, every since 2 weeks ago, I've been working on my bag for 15 minutes a day. I'm sure that has helped me to stay in shape. Also, every since I lost the weight, I've been eating whatever I want but just control the meal portions. I haven't gained a single pound in months. Success!!!

Or you can join a cross fit or a martial arts school. I did MA for a number of years and damn, sparring and training will get you into shape in no time. I didn't like getting hit so that fear made me work harder and by doing that kept me in shape for a number of years.

Nice outfit. Can't give much feedback in terms of fit because of the pose and girl leaning on you, although I will say you could probably stand to have the pants hemmed and tapered a tad (although whether you want to do that for an HSM suit is your call). Shirt collar does seem a bit short, but again maybe that's because your arm is stretched out.

Colours look good... I'm assuming it's a charcoal suit? Brown shoes look fine there either way. I will agree with the herd though and say the combination of pocket square, tie bar and lapel flower is a bit much. I'd go with just one (probably a PS), but given how popular all that stuff is right now, you'd be fine with two. If you absolutely must have accessories, maybe cufflinks?

I thumbed mostly for the beard, but partly for everything else too.

?

Lol, I drive a Hyundai Accent. I don't think you can drift in those. :D

Very slow start to the day. My local thrift somehow knows what Loro Piana is. Passed on a really cool striped wool blend S/S polo shirt in my size. They wanted $30. The day did pick up though towards the end.

6 recent Hugo Boss suits w/ the Nordstrom hangers. $6 each.

Zegna 100% cashmere car coat.

Since I've lot 30 lbs. so they fit me even better now!!! I can't wait to rock my LVC wool coat along with my 1967 501's, some boots, and my Raybans! I'll be a walking LVC advertisement!!! bounce2.gif

I was bummed when all they had was the New Wayfarer last time I got glasses, but I've grown to like the slightly smaller frame size and it's a better look all around these days. Lookin sharp my man - congrats on the weight loss! Hard work paid off.

Thanks, buddy! :slayer:

It's all good, bro! I see it more as a stereotype than racism. I'm not offended. Shit, I don't think I get offended that easily.

As others stated, the script is also found on their older labels as well (late 50's-ish to the mid 70's-ish) which are nice grabs as well. The Signature label is pretty new (maybe 3-4 years old) and you'd need to be near a trendy area to find the stuff. As others stated that piece is likely from the 90's. Still nice but little resale value.

Here's an example of the old label on a bomber jacket I found that is from, I think, late-50s to early-60s. It's certainly predates anything I've seen on eBay or etsy.

Derail time! Damn, it's like that's all I every do now...

Was working out in the garage today when my neighbor came by with his dog. Convinced me to take a hike with him. Talked to the wifey. We all went hiking.

We live right next to the mountains so there are tons of hiking trail around. There was a ranch that's around 120 years old. Was told it was haunted. People have reported seeing a little girl waving through the window. I was also told the original owners abandoned the place and there are items from the 1800's still in that house! Amongst the stuff, there are clothes!!! WOA!!! WHAT?! That piqued my interested. Nevertheless, I didn't want to disturb whatever is in that house so I just told a few pics of the place.

Also, saw the very same spot where ranchers would tie a bull and a bear to a giant oak tree and let them fight. They would bet on the winner...Got tired. Went home but was like, "Shit, I haven't finished my work out yet!" Did some work out. It was a shoulders day. Today was a good day. :slayer:

Was shirtless flexing inside the ranch house successful at keeping the ghosts away?

Thanks for the info (from a bunch of different peeps!).

I took a chance on it... It's still a decent jacket (Windbloc fleece and all).

Warning: Flip Talk! (Click to show)
I recently sold a vest made of the same material for a decent profit, so I'd imagine this will be similar, especially since winter is coming.

Nataku will flip when he sees the Sierra Designs pieces I picked up today... :bigstar:

Just wanted to check in again. I have to apologize for not making it to the meetup in SF. I PMed pocketsquareguy beforehand to let him know I wouldn't be attending. Unfortunately, our entire itinerary and schedule has been messed up since we started, so I wasn't able to make it to SF until the day after the meetup.

I really sorry Barrel and Ian. I should have mentioned it, but I hadn't kept up with the thread and had no idea anyone was anticipating my arrival!

I had a blast out west and found some great stuff. I also had the pleasure of meeting some of the members here and have had nothing but positive experiences. I'd like to thank everyone that offered advice, their favorite stores, offering to meet, giving restaurant and sightseeing advice, etc. My wife and I were overwhelmed with the outreach so many have shown. I didn't get a chance to respond to everyone or see messages before I'd left the area, but all was appreciated. When I get back to Austria, I'll hopefully have a decent trip report, with secret locations redacted. happy.gif

In other news, I have a ton of stuff to photograph. I had hoped to get photos uploaded by now as some of it would be available, but I haven't had the chance. After I leave, shipping prices will be from Austria which is cost-prohibitive, I know.

Any size 40s (thread regulars) that would like a pair of Zegna (Incotex) khaki shorts from Neiman Marcus for cost + shipping, let me know ASAP. I paid $40, not bad considering, but definitely end of season.

I'll get pictures soon or after I get back home this weekend. Lots if fun stuff (my opinion, if course)!
