Also, to whoever was bragging about carrying his gun everywhere: people like you are the worst.

There are several of us here who legally carry firearms.

Awesome bonus find, Wes. I've yet to find any goodies inside thrifted clothing frown.gif

For the love of god, no 5 page gun debate **again**

That's messed up, who would subject their child to Robert Graham? That could scar them for life.

HEY. I have a kids XL that I love wearing (thanks to the thread member here) and get compliments on it every time I wear it out by all the girls (no joke!)

It's only relevant if you thrifted a gun

Typical. I have five or six J Press suits & blazers right now and none have content tags.

Alteas are pretty nice IMO. I have two that I purchased via ebay about 5-6 years ago. Never seen one while out thrifting.

I believe the upshot was that it's legally permissible to keep stuff you find in the pockets of donated clothes without buying the clothes. Whether you feel okay doing so is up to you. I don't recall finding anything except spare buttons, fabric swatches, business cards, match books, and some dude's blood pressure pills.

I definitely don't want to do that, but I also don't like to see blanket comments that insult large groups of people smile.gif

Remember when Martini Girl called someone gay, and you went off on her (appropriately, in my opinion)? Stay consistent in the tolerance preach, brother. Your comment is not so different.

You don't know any of us and call people like "us" the worst? Wow. If you want to spew anti-2A hatred toward a group of people that you deem the worst, there are plenty of other forums for those conversations.

Is finding and keeping money & valuables in thrift store clothing a case of fair (or even legal) 'finders keepers' if item was not purchased?
Please not again.

(BTW, two revived thread slap fest topics within like 10 messages? That must be a record)

Back to the finds, please, gents.

I found a couple of (still in package, so NWOT?) condoms in an otherwise nice leather jacket once. Left them in the pocket and the jacket on the rack.

I feel like my joke about resurrecting thread derails from the past didn't land precisely as intended.

Womp womp. Guess that explains why they were still there.

Did a loop of Goodwills in that sartorial wasteland that is central New Hampshire. I found a few things. Everything is available

My second ever Barbour piece both from the same store. Different owner though since the first was a small button down that my wife confiscated.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Pima cotton BB not labeled but fits me as a large

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Not sure about this one, took a chance for 2 bucks because of the name.

Cartier 100% Linen skinny tie right in time for fall

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Ralph Lauren Rugby Khakis (I failed to see the giant mud stains on them so will be attempting the Oxyclean method on these)

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

EZ Gray Flannel SC (Thought it might be an orphan but the patch pockets tell me SC am I right?) No size tag, little large on me so I guess 45/6R

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Finally I wasn't sure if the above EZ was an orphan or not so I started searching for similar fabric pants and found a pair and had to push these out of the way. 100% Cotton Alexander McQueen pants

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Can we all agree to let the thrift gods decide? If his decision was good, he shall be rewarded with the labels he seeks. If he chose poorly, the stores shall remain barren wastelands of Haggar and Van Huesen, interrupted only by torn and sweat-stained Brooks Brothers OCBDs to taunt him.
