Am going to keep the belt, but cannot in good conscience give you a good rating on the way the belt was described.
Clearly, the most wear to a belt is where the tongue and buckle hold the belt together; this belt shows substantial wear on two belt holes.
Any comments before I publish my rating?
Thanks

My response:

Dear mousekin1010,

Sir, I told you that up that I would refund your money from the beginning . It has now been, what, three weeks, and you say you are going to keep the belt but still give me a negative rating? It's people like you that make it frustrating that sellers can no longer leave negative feedback. I know the belt had negligible wear and the color was absolutely shown correctly in the photos listed. I also know that there are some people out there with nothing better to do than to harass other people over the internet. Sir, get a life, and next time, stick to retail.

Is this something you can report buyers for? I had one guy trying to extort me for "Stains that don't show up in pictures" along with
  • "dents in the fabric" I'm pretty sure this is a wrinkle to you and me
  • Clouding in MoP buttons
  • No collar stays
  • Some other BS

He was also demanding basically all his money except for shipping, and to keep the shirt he was so unhappy with. I just reported him/blocked him/told him to go eff himself.

Anyway, study break thrift run:

BoO chambray

J Crew Selvedge workshirt to replace the chambray a friend moved to Ohio with. This shirt has some pretty cool details. It's not one of the "Authentic" Japanese reproduction brands I fetishize but hey, can't beat thrift prices smile.gif

One of the many vintage Japanese oddities that on occasion pop up online secondhand in China, picked up for 15 USD. Henry Poole for Matsuzakaya.

Few more shots of labels on the Henry Poole..

Both fit delightfully well in the shoulder with sleeve length pretty ok, everything else the tailor can sort

Wow! Those are super cool and rare!!! 70's?

Edit: Just saw the date, 1951! Wow!

Itsokbro. You can quit anytime you want. fing02[1].gif
It's not the last car of the train that kills you.

Thrift fit. The palate says autumnal, but damned if it isn't 95 and 4000% humidity. Hence the cotton.

Variety, old friend, is the spice of life.

It's much more fun defying and wandering across traditional boundaries.

It was tie day at my local thrift store. Set out a bunch of ties and I found a few nice ones (Charvet, T&A, BB x2 one NWT). Pictures to come soon.

Thanks! True story: Walking into work, I caught a glimpse of my self, en motion, in the reflection on the front door and audibly gasped at how Erkel I looked -- showing full ankle. A new experience, and I'm trying to keep an open mind....

Why invest in Pantherellas and Happy Socks if no one can see them?

Fantastic reasoning that I've attempted, to little avail, in respect of SWMOB's leopard print thong.
