Guessing the thread on the sleeves is white? Suit hasn't been to a tailor yet. Threads are to show the tailors where to make alterations, then add the buttons after. That is NWOT right there.

RECENT! $1700 NWT HICKEY FR33MAN SUIT, 42R L00K!!!!1

It's a gorgeous, gorgeous blue....not sure why it's coming out somewhat gray.

Just finished with a round of pics, just about 900 and I'm calling it quits for the night.

Did find this yesterday, courtesy of Dustinmyself leaving it on the rack. It's not the Kiton I was dreaming of, but it's about as good as it gets around here.

Older, but not overly dated, and a nice staple fabric.

That was a case of right place right time right circumstances. There's a place a block from where i work that i run out to almost daily for a quick 15min break to blow off steam. Walked in right as all that stuff came out. Thankfully I had an rare extended amount of time to grab it all. I don't know what I would have done if I had to get back in a hurry. I've been building the a post. Probably post Tuesday.

Bumped because finding a Brioni Suit maybe once a year and then getting paged on the brag is unacceptable.

All that NWT stuff had to have been a store dumping excess inventory, right? I mean who buys 8 pair of Incotex, never wears them and just dumps them off? I've come across the rare high-end NWT item here and there, but it's only one piece. Like something that was a gift or a spur of the moment purchase that never fit right and was thus never worn.

Quoting my own because I value the opinions of you, the gents of the thrift thread. So I got the above shoes... And the soles are kind of too much for me. Double thick, platformy, they don't really flex at all. Thinking since I got such a good deal, maybe a re-sole is in order. What would you guys pick? I'm thinking along the lines of the Vibram Christy sole.

Personally I think the soles are awful and would not be caught dead in them as they sit. Definitely a candidate for a resole as the uppers are gorgeous.

Thank you - ended up leaving it as I was having a bitch of a time trying to post here from my mobile and it looked like it never went thru, and I couldn't find a comp on eBay / online.

I just can't quit thrifting

I know I'm going to break down soon and buy for trade eventually.

Had to drag this up to say that I spent three years in Cleveland and never ONCE found a STITCH of Kiton. Leaving it in any location is... unfathomable to me, actually. O_O

A couple of clothing finds worth showing: one cool, the other educational:

Dack's camel-skin derbies:

Dack's true custom-grade Scotch-grain derbies. Back when Dack's made a handmade shoe that if it had a closed welt would be right up there. Note the skiving at the apron.
