Hope I'm not blowing up anyone's spot, but this seems like a great e-thrift. Lining issue does look repairable, though I could be wrong. 100% cashmere...

I bet those Brooksies will dimple up nicely when you knot them. My stoopid Nicole Miller wouldn't hold a dimple no matter how much I worked the knot. Those black silks are keepers.

Authentication help requested.

The leather is soft and they seem well made, but other than that, not sure what to look for.

Ties

RT,VV (Vinson & Elkins custom fracking rig tie - thought that was pretty funny),LB,BB bowtie,BB,Hermes

woah, almost an ugly feet pic!

I guess if the oil co's pay you billions to defend them, you can have a custom VV tie made in their honor.

This question AGAIN? (Click to show)

I'm sure the pros are getting sick of being asked this, but...  I'm undecided in my research.  There's a thread loop, but it's not a huge loop like I see in example pictures, the label doesn't match exactly with any I can find, but it looks a hell of a lot better than my last fake. The tie is just under 9cm if that makes a difference. Finally there are no other labels, numbers, anything, just the tie and the keeper/label.  Survey says?

Obi Italy belt - they are a maker for all the big Italian names, but I can't find anything on selling items direct.  Wonder if this was like a gift shop at the end of a factory tour type thing.  Also the research is muddied by the fact that Obi is also a STYLE of belt, almost impossible to find an "Obi" the maker belt/belt buckle.

Brandy new. Neat mechanism for an adjustable belt.

Happy to spread some good thrift karma around. Shocked that those stayed there for that long; I guess this little spot is not on the radar.

Logo looks off to me, legs on man and front horse legs both look off.  The reins also look to be running a little low on the horse.

Just saw 3 Kiton suits on frenchy's tumblr :/
post #76767 of 138728

Found these pocket squares balled up in the Hanes 3-pack underwear section at a discount store that almost never yields anything good. Less than a dollar each. Reluctantly available. I'm about to start my last semester of college and each of these is potentially worth about a case of cheap beer on eBay.

I thrifted a pair of allen edmonds saratoga in size 12D.  It doesn't have tassells.  So I am not sure if the design calls for this.  I also picked up an H. Freeman & Son customed made suit. I know it's on the smaller end (below 40R).  If anyone is interested just post a response.  I can let the AE go dirt cheap.
