Here is a close-up of the Brioni I posted earlier.  If anyone knows what the shinier thread is, that would be great! They're definitely not stains.

That's just how Brioni made ties for awhile

I have a ton of pictures to go through and process, so I'll just leave you with an image of the latest fashion in Munich...

Ljubljana is my absolute favorite city in Europe. I was in Slovenia for a 3 week trial, and fell in love with the city. Walk down the center of the town with the river on either side with beautiful blonde college students in every outdoor pub. All of them wanted to practice English with me! They told me when Yugoslavia broke up, Russian was not taught in schools anymore but they changed it to English.

I tell my wife if she goes first I am moving there... Not sure why she always says I am not as funny as I think I am.

The Charvet Fairy made a stop at the last stop. A local thrift store that rarely produces anything worth buying. Almost always filled with Croft & Barrow and Arrow shirts, though. Never seen anything of this caliber at this store before besides a Brioni for Wilkes Bashford dress shirt 3 years ago.

14 sweaters total. All Eu 52. All cashmere/silk.

Jeez, Louise, Nataku. What a score. My size, too. The stuff dreams are made of.

John Lobbs last week, Charvet silk cashmere sweaters this week... Looking forward to next weeks finds!

I recently thrifted a shirt from "Giorgio's of Palm Beach" made in Italy. Does anyone know anything about this shop or more specifically who makes shirts for them? It has details similar to my Borrelli shirts (hand sewn collar & shoulder, chicken-foot buttons, white pockets for the collar stays, etc) the only thing missing is the stitch half way up the placket.

The info is not critical as it is a beautiful shirt that fits me perfectly, but would be interested to find out more details.

And he found some crazy weird Japanese-stuff-I-wouldn't-be-caught-dead-in-but-worth-zillions not long ago as well, as I recall.
