Unfortunately this one has a stain on the pants, it will probably come out but I might just save this guy and exchange it for something else that comes along

These two jackets aren't new finds but I think they're pretty sweet so I'll post them anyway

Also, I sold those alligator cowboy boots for 8 benjamins last week cool.gif

Hey guys,
I have a job offer (pending the interview) for a senior staff position in a prominent upcoming senate race. I'd rather not specify parties/individuals so as to remain nonpartisan haha. That said I am really looking to get a new suit for the position and interview. If anyone has a quality 38S suit with 32X32-31 pants in a slim fit and a relatively conservative appearance please let me know. I'm willing to pay (or trade) significantly above thrift value. This is a big one for me and I really want to look the part. So... If anyone could help I would really appreciate it! I will define lot make it worth your while. I've got tons off stuff stored up (mostly in my size). So, if you can hook a future do-gooder up I'd be eternally grateful. Also, anyone like harmonicas? I found half a dozen old ones in their boxes for a couple dollars and thought someone might like them. To busy to upload photos now but I will later if anyone is interested.

Both are real. I'm sure someone has pointed it out already but the brown is a heavy silk. Probably early to mid 2000's. a great tie and not one you see every day.
Also, great start to thrifting! My start in college was significantly less notable!

The thrift shops by me seem to suck....

If you want a pic of something particular let me know. This is the second jacket by Arnys I have found actually.

All good, especially in the fit. I like the camo one the most, for sure.  I like the suede loafers, but I think they are a little matchy how you used them here.  Also, I think using the white pants and picking up your hair tones in a jacket makes it feel a little top-heavy... maybe use the beige in a lower layer or flip the top and bottom colors.  Do like the white pants, though.

Ugh... I've been averaging 20-30 gigabytes a day for the last 17 days on this job. 3 more days to go. Fun fact- The wardrobe of the film I'm currently on is probably around 85% thrifted. Yes, I've already looked through all of it.

all good points, I think if I swapped out the suede loafers for for black tassles in the blazer fit would work better. I just like the combination of dark shirt and light jacket and pants for this season though it feels very old school Italian to me

Holy crap! I think there was only another incident where an Arnys was thrift on here within a year or so!

What makes a meow sound and is a close approximation of a certain desirable brand? :)

Edit: Pics tomorrow, but I have 3 probable orphans, well only one im not really sure of, that would very much like to be reunited with their pants, all in DFW metro area, once I post pics if any of you DFW guys could keep an eye out i'd really appreciate it, plus you'll get some scrillaaaaa, we're not talking BB, well one is recent label BBGF
