Wow, you LA guys are killing it lately! Still slow up here. Found some Lululemon stuff for my wife and a NIB (vintage) Le Creuset chocolate fondue. Also a recent label (tan w/ the crest) Hickey Freeman spread collar casual shirt for myself. Nothing really worth taking pictures of.

I'm right there with you in the doldrums, Nat. Not that I've been out much, but when I have, it's generally been herring and not tuna.

On vacation in FL, near Destin, rained all day so had an excuse to hit some thrifts.  Goodwill has a half off day here, that's nice, but not much to pick up even at half off.  I'm not used to this, but I think half the store was flippers, same thing happened when I hit San Antonio recently.  Struck up a conversation with one, then the guy ahead of me in line pays with his Pay Pal CC.  So you can see why there was nothing left.  Rarely run into flippers in my home town and the ones I do are usually selling to Second Looks.  First place I went to  was a Catholic Mission thrift house, and thank you sweet baby Jesus, they had just gotten a donation from the local BB Outlet.  The outlet did a good job mangling most of the tags, but I picked up a few things.

Linen pants, unhemmed, a few pairs, various (mostly bigger) waist sizes and a matching Linen 43L sport coat, all with (varying degrees of sharpied out) tags

also a pair of cotton Clark fit chinos, and a pair or wool dress pants.  all the same Khaki color, guess they decided it's not going to sell here.  I don't have a BB outlet near me, so if this rain keeps up I'll probably hit it.

This 32x32 Patch Madras:

Found my first Southwick/Paul Stewart - was an orphan, decided to let it go. Same for a Daniel Cremiux Loro Piana coat that could've passed as a SC, but wasn't my size so passed.

I was excited about the BB stuff though, I think they were still sorting through it, because all the stuff I got was on it's own separate rack.  Will probably go back tomorrow.

Was able to hit some stores over the weekend and grabbed a few things I'd not seen firsthand before:

Barba & Cucinelli

Steven Alan

Etro NWOT (was in plastic sleeve, which I thought usually signified junk. glad I took a closer look)

Other ties: (Click to show)

Pendleton wool, LE silk knit, Canali, Talbottx2 for a long defunct local menswear shop

Vests (Click to show)

Vtg Levi's

J Crew suede

BB 346 from 1967.

Faconnable made in Italy full cotton SC for myself. Fits great and just what I wanted. Oh, St. Vinnies, you shouldn't have!

It's crazy how modern the cut of that BB suit jacket looks! Truly timeless!

picked up these cufflinks. On the back it says "Alva museum replicas." Can any art or history experts tell me what this is from, I'm trying to get more info on it. It looks Greek or Roman.

was also going to go for greek roman.

any weight to them?

bay prices seem kind of low for larger items so its a good find to keep.

I think the last time I posted in this thread was shortly before Spoo thrifted the Ferrari so it's been a while, but I've been lurking like a champ and finally got caught up on reading a few thousand posts. Y'all have been killin it as usual! I'm working on getting some pics uploaded from my comparatively meager finds.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

3x PRL made in USA, found on the same rack in the same store, though for reasons unbeknownst to me, no two were priced identically. Between the sailing, equestrian, and golf themes, these cover most of your country/yacht club needs!

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Etro (cherry popped), T&A, BB Makers x2, Canali (cherry popped), PRL Italy

The darker color on the PRL kinda looks black, until you hold it next to something that actually is black. It's a super dark forest green.

All n/a, keeping for myself.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Burberrys, Chester Barrie (cherry popped), Giorgio Armani (assuming it's real, cherry popped)

All n/a.

Can I get an authenticity check on this one?

Louis Vuitton? (Click to show)

I'm assuming real, but old. It's every bit of 4" wide.

Not an LV expert, but that looks fake as shit

The LV logo is missing most of the serif on the font.

This.....

Agreed, the LV is fake.
