Damn Wes, you've turned into the shoe king...always killin it with them kicks.

Someone dumped a good dozen dead stock / new old stock / with tags suits & SC's at my local goodwill - nothing worth a photo - picked up a tweed SC, and blue & white size 50R pinstripe suit I imagine a portly Southern lawyer wearing (not pincord or seersucker - just pinstriped cotton/poly blend).  The rest were too plain to flip, except maybe to a costume / wardrobe house looking for bland clothing.  Just odd to see so many 60's / 70's new-old suits and SC's in one place.

I stopped picking these up a long time ago as well. I did flip a killer Maus and Hoffman cardigan, but it took forever and it happened to be in superb condition and really nice looking. Something like that I would still buy.

AE shoes and Zanella with Loro Piana fabric are a waste of time, I'll be sure to leave them next time, just because you said so. Point taken about the spoiler, was too lazy, should've gone back and edited it when I saw my post took up a whole page. Thanks for your opinion,

and by that I mean fuck you. Can't wait for your next post of some run of the mill PRL so I can say how nice it is.

My apologies if you were offended or if your feelings were hurt by my comments. I was merely stating what "I" would do. Your abilities were not meant to be put into question.

The RLPL shirt to my knowledge is not the vintage script RLPL shirts that i have seen. Again, my assumpiton was that it was a yes or no question , you did not ask or imply you need more info.

Again my mistake ...

FYI ( This happens every few months on this thread. A new user post, another member replies and carnage. uhoh.gif)

When I was in high school, my chemistry teacher always wore these 60s/70s style short sleeve button up shirts - like the classic NASA engineers, only usually with a pattern. He had a whole wardrobe of them. I always imagined that he had stumbled upon a Montgomery Ward store that was hastily abandoned in 1967, and he just kept going back for more clothes.
But maybe he was just a thrift store baller.

The drama. :oh!:

Anyway, I think we cover this annually, but here are the AAAC posts that have dealt with it in the past.

You have to read down a few posts in the second before info starts to come out.
Essentially, seems that it was an early foray into higher end with better construction, perhaps to test the waters for what eventually became RLPL.
Not the same thing, older, at least the same quality (possibly better).

Exactly. Also pre-RLPL made in England.

I think this makes it over the bar, but if not then its damn cool: Paul Stuart by Samuelsohn, moss green linen-wool blend with MOP buttons. At 43 short, it's so frustratingly close to my size. It's within length range that I can barely make it work. Needs some waist suppression for me, and I haven't yet decided if I'm willing to make that investment.
