Nonsense, those are on my extended wish list. I can pay you in ties, perhaps hankies? Shoes if you're unruly; shirts if you are desperate.

Fell asleep missed the whole ae's thing (the link didn't open so at first that thought you guys were talking about size specific shoe trees since those go on sale at jab a lot) pity that everyone tried to buy In bulk I think some minor orders would have slid through
Martini girl should come back I honestly wouldn't care if dm7 left instead of her she was an active and engaging participant besides that whole disgusting behavior of name calling and being a bigot
Also have grenadine ties ever been made of polyester?
Is that what the tie bars grendafaux ties are?
I think orgeotix owns one can he chime in on the fabric composition?
I am asking because I have a chance to buy a large amount of solid color what appear to be grenadines but they are 4 in wide and polyester... Damn you 70s...

Weird black Brioni Nehru/stock collar shirt. Fly front, French cuffs. Darted in back like a woman's, miniature MOP buttons like a woman's, buttons on the right like a man's, no size tag but would be small for a man but large on a woman. There were two of these and a Stefano Ricci that was identical. I passed. Good pass?

Grenadine is a weave. The Tiebar Grenafauxs are silk, but a different weave that sorta imitates grenadine.

Pass on the '70s ties.

Dude you need to get out of that basement as soon as possible. The 70s vibe is already affecting your fashion judgement.

Musical instrument guys, is a Conn trombone worth picking up? What features/attributes should I be looking for?

Would be much easier if you could post a pic of every logo or model designation. If the case is cheap plastic and original, it's most likely a pass.

Just swung back to the store. It was an 18H and upon some cursory research not that desirable. Especially at the price they were asking. I was crossing my fingers it would be an 88H.

I picked up a trumpet at SA few years back--can't recall the brand--and flipped it on CL with no trouble for a pretty nice profit. From my days in high school band, I knew that the valves worked, didn't leak when played and neither slides nor the mouthpiece were stuck. It also had a case. Given that, picking it up was an easy call, especially because I found it during the summer, not long before the start of school. Considering the cost of renting, parents on a budget are happy to pay $200 or so for a serviceable instrument for a kid just starting out. If that Conn was south of $50, not in need of repair, came with a case and not all dented up, I don't think that the model would matter.
