the "dark side" is Ebay.

my wife is pushing me to give it a try, as i seem  to be on the good stuff.

it breaks all my personal thrifting rules. but i will focus on streetwear, and obscure couture brands.

get ready for epic quality.stirpot.gif

NWOT D&G blazer

NWOT Dolce & Gabbana mainline leather blazer.

NWT Dolce & Gabbana Luxury suit

Nice Collective jacket w/ built-in vest.

Shirts

Some wimmens stuff (spoilered for those who couldn't care less).
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

And the best find of the day, which was actually found by my wife. She comes up to me holding this nice wool overcoat and says "Hey, here's a nice coat!" I look over and say "Oh cool - nice..." and didn't really think anything of it. She then flips it open and says "Did you see who made it?!". biggrin.gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif Man, I love her!

Tagged an XXXL for some strange reason but fits like a 44-46.

Crazy Norwegian farmers! Do they plow with Bentleys as well?

Already tried Google and eBay. I see no difference between my query and a host of similar queries in this thread (e.g. copping Gaultier).

But thanks for your time, and the value-add.

Just screwing with you man. Although it's hard to tell sometimes, we do try to keep the "what's it worth for flipping?" conversations to a minimum.

To answer your question, there is probably a market for them with all the TR heads out there, but I can't imagine they would be that well made. I could be wrong. My search shows like a $25-$30 average.

These are my two favorites out of your haul.  Nice Yashica and there's just something about that briefcase.  Looks like it has the Mexican national emblem (recognized from coins) as one logo and the other is an Inca design?  Tough to tell, not my specialty.  I just really like the case.  Hope you can do something nice with the leather.  Good luck!

That is actually after I cleaned it up. That unfortunate water stain isn't going anywhere. It called to me in anguish....and I could not leave it behind.

Isn't there some kind of oil for leather that would restore it?

Amazing finds happening. I haven't thrifted much in the last 2 weeks and I'm winding down ebay listing to get ready for summer vacation but I am looking forward to some thrifting in Washington and hope to meet up with at least one SF member down there.

This is the Canada Day long weekend in Canada so have been taking it easy and enjoying myself with non-thrift pleasures.

Dune buggy + mud = fun

Happy Canada Day to the Canadians here!

Nothing great, but some neat things for eBay:

Big-E 501s. I'm thinking '80s/'90s Japanese version:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Unworn '80s Tigers mesh/snapback hat. Somehow survived this long without anyone wearing it:

NOS '60s/'70s Shields Sportswear (a defunct Toronto maker) pocketless bomber jacket:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Kenneth Cole made-in-Italy spectators. Basically new. I'm hoping that someone'll spend a night's pizza budget on them. It's a fully-welted shoe, and the calf isn't CG.
