Any Shells? I can't find any until you find your next pair.

Nope, that's another reason I'm holding out. devil.gif

I can't think of any way aside from stacking a couple bricks on either side of the amp, putting a board or two across and putting the table on the board(s). Leave at least four fingers of space above the amp to let it breathe.

Alright guys.  So I've been hard at work and haven't had time to post.

...but I'm going to post this haul from last weekend in a few hours. really.

After that, I'm going to pull a Frenchy and blog about this stuff.

A good idea nowadays with smartphones, is to keep a folder with the good maker labels in them. I have about 20 or so photos of the labels and when looks familiar I just bust out my phone to scan the pictures quick. This way you also see them more often and will recognize them without even looking in the future.

Phenomenal idea.

Would you be so kind sir to post said 20 or so photos for our edification and field reference? TIA

I'll see what I can do, but if you are starting out and actually want to learn (vs just asking a ton of questions, not you, just anyone starting out in general), skim though the label heel thread linked below when you have time. Save pictures, make mental notes, etc etc and its better then just having the info spoon fed. That said, I will try and post them later on.

Man, it's weird to see you hauling our "regular" labels stuff and not the super high end/high fashion stuff. colgate.gif I'm guessing these are actual thrift hauls like they are from a thrift store? biggrin.gif

Really haven't found much clothing-wise to brag about in these parts, but good to see everyone else is having success.

But, non-clothing brag alert:

The Wifey and I had been trying to find a table for our back patio for quite some time, but everything we found that we liked was $500+.  So last week, on her Summer break from teaching, my better half constructed this:

Total cost: $93 in lumber

Mor pics (Click to show)

Had some friends over, so a summertime thrift fit was in order:

Details (Click to show)

Jacket: Vintage Bleeding Indian Madras (thrift)

Shirt: J Crew Linen (thrift)

Square: Non Name Silk (thrift)

Pants: Zegna (thrift)

Shoes: Alden (thrift)
