Nice! Caruso?

I've been busy with work so I've been skimming the thread, but I don't think it's been mentioned...terrible to see James Gandolfini die. Jersey guys (Brian, et al), is the state in mourning? A really talented actor.

Same to you! Working on a few projects at the moment, so I finally just got around to opening the box you sent! Thanks again!

Brioni x 3, the pearl gray at the top is a FF. The bottom one is a Zanella calvary twill. To the right is a recent pair of Etro cotton herringbone trou.

A Brioni cummerbund/bow set, some pocket squares, a no name silk knit. very recent Lanvin navy stripe, silk shantung repp, el Trado, and a Lands' End baseball emblematic.

I left a clean Barneys private label by Caruso. Not my size and $75. It sure was pretty though. Also passed on a Dsquared tux coat with heavily sequined lapels. It was $25 I think, but I have so little experience with SW&D I decided to leave it.

Special thanks to Nataku for hooking me up with a decent vintage receiver and being a huge help in the quest to start a new Vinyl set-up.

So far it's an Audio/Spirit station.

Found this thrifting today. It has no makers label and is custom-made with incredible detail such as pick-stitching everywhere possible and functioning cuffs. Can anyone ID this one please?

For cool menswear shopping downtown there's Jackstraw http://www.jstraw.com/, close to the Seattle Art Museum (which is also worthwhile); and on the other end of downtown there's Kuhlman http://www.kuhlmanseattle.com/, next to the Cyclops bar, which is also worth a stop. In between, there's a large Army Surplus store on 1st, not far from Pike Place Market, which is the obvious place for you to spend a couple of hours. (If you're a foodie, check out DeLaurenti at the south end of the market, by the fish-throwing guys. If you're a hippie, check out Tenzing Momo herbalist http://www.tenzingmomo.com/ , in the same general area.)

It's a bit hard to find Cafe Zig Zag http://zigzagseattle.com/, which is in between Pike Place and the piers, but they have very good bartenders who serve very good cocktails. At least a few of them were trained by Murray Stenson, one of the country's best bartenders, when he ran the bar there.

I'm not guaranteeing anything, but the details look very similar to my Attolini-made jackets. Shape of the collar turnback, buttonholes, shape of the breast pocket are all very close if not identical. Any labels at all anywhere, including inside the pockets?

*sigh*
Back in the '80s, Shah Safari was a hip line for guys on a budget that wanted to dress like Duran Duran in a Moroccan medina. I'm pretty sure they sold it at Jay Jacob, if that still means anything. Or maybe you could consider them a slightly new wave (and cheap) version of the old version of Banana Republic.

Nice setup! How's the Hendrick's Gin? I've been eyeing up a bottle of that but haven't bitten yet. Is it worth a pickup?
