Nice stuff. Piggybacking the question someone asked earlier what's the stuff you weren't considering super hot items?

On a lark, I stopped in the charity shop on my neighborhood's high street. Never been in before because I think I'm the only person on this hill who wears a jacket every day. I found this quarter-lined jobby from Cable Car Clothiers. Fits me perfectly, and I paid about 3x for the lunch I'd just eaten. Kismet, I tell you.

Looks awesome. Same pattern/colors as a Norman Hilton I picked up a few weeks ago.

I found a couple of custom shirts with nice thick MOP buttons. They just said holland and sherry 1863, does Holland & Sherry make their own shirts?

I thought I heard all H&S was by Tom James. Would love to be wrong, though.

Turns out the Tom Ford was NWT...

(loses count after FIFTY) MIND. BLOWN!!! THIS IS JUST THE SHIRTS AND TIES!

Haha very cool thank you for the insight!

Also, picked up this Paul Stuart the other day, single vented, 2 button(42R) . Another great find of the day! Just would never wear it.

All Paul Stuart is very solid quality and a highly respectable (imho) addition as a foundation to your wardrobe. If you're flipping, all sells reasonably well too. The manufacture tag will tell you where it was made, and that will determine who made it. The Made in Canada stuff is made by Samuelsohn -- VERY nicely done. Not sure who makes the other stuff; others may know.
EDIT: That tag and those lapels suggest Samuelsohn to me. Take a pic of the manufacture tag (inside the interior pocket)

a few decent finds from a recent thrift trip .

Zegna polo shirt, not sure if its the good Zegna but it looked good enough to pick up even though it doesn't fit

it's available, size is marked 54/XL and its lavender in colour.

Nice pink on pink stripes TM lewin.

Also available

Pm me if you want more details on either shirt.

Found a few ties, for me. but open to making them available

This might be a good time to mention that I am in need of a decent black suit in size 38S.
My work requires it to be solid black, but i could get a faint pattern past the boss.

I would like it to be single breasted, 2 button (3-2 roll works) flat front pants and a slim fit would be nice.

Thanks guys.

The manufacturing tag is missing. Although this tag says its made in Canada. That would be great if it was a samuelsohn!

Cross-post from the labels, nails and heel patterns thread, thought I would re-post here as this thread gets much more turnover and is filled with equally brillian minds.

Picked up these Made in England on the "Virginia" last cap toe oxfords today at a thrift, any ideas on the maker?

9 nails on the inside portion of the heel, 12 smaller nails on the outside and a "triangle" near the edge

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Here's the Coach bag I found earlier this week.

I'm no expert on leather, so I could use some advice. This thing is in really nice shape besides the color of the leather. As you can see, it's very discolored. What would be the best product to use to bring the original color back (if possible) or would I need to use leather dye?

Any input appreciated!

Good 'ol Saphir Renovateur would probably do it wonders. Although the strong change of color under the flap is probably not going to ever even out without a complete strip and refinish.

Due to a public holiday tomorrow, my wife and I have been sitting here with wine and I've had the time to keep up with this thread and it's a full time job reading everything. Anyway, it's an unfinished leather, right? It looks to me like it's dried out everywhere but under the flap. Since it's closed most of the time, oil tends to stay there. I would try a conditioner over all of it and let that soak into the hide. It will look dark for awhile, but after a few days it should even out. I have a beeswax based leather balsam that I use on unfinished leather and makes things incredibly soft and reconditioned. The downside is that it can make darker leathers appear almost black for some time.

Awesome bag, by the way! If it's available, I'd consider it as-is!
