Honestly, did you just shit a brick when you kept pulling piece after piece off the rack? I might have had a heart attack.

I'm just going to go ahead and slip in this thrift fit from today. Huge props to Rando for the Borrelli trou, S Allen for the Alden shoes and Spoo for an awesome hookup on the LP SC.

Also, happy as I am for Nat, I can't help but ask: Do people actually wear some of those things?

Does anyone remember member SoCal2NYC? I was instantly reminded of him when I found all this stuff. He'd rock the goth ninja look with ease. I remember he posted this exact Raf jacket in the SW&D Recent Purchases thread back when it came out and I was drooling over it. Could not believe I was holding it in my hands in a thrift store.

Also, I guess the guy didn't die. The workers at the store told me the guy who these belonged to pulled up in a super expensive car and donated them all. Said he was going for "a different look". Must be rough, huh?

Pretty much. I couldn't believe it, honestly. I pinched myself a couple times to see if I was dreaming. I've had dreams of hauls like this. You just don't see this stuff in Minnesota. Even in LA I bet it's tough to find. Only place I can really see finding this type of stuff is NYC.

Y'know, I'm actually going to have to try to keep that opinion, otherwise Nat's ridiculous haul is going to sour me on thrifting forever.

But seriously Nat, that's amazing. I don't recognize a single piece there. I can even imagine flipping past the 10,000th Haggar or Stafford of the month and then running into something like that.

I'll save pics of today's finds for after all that calms down. In summary, near-NOS Florsheim Imperials (non-shell gunboats) two pairs AE Devonshire, my first Cheaneys, PRL angora sweater, other random stuffs.

The day this thread ended.

Dan....right now it's Merona galore to flip past.

Nat- Obviously you killed it. Seriously dream haul and all the money is now yours. I can't rock that look for the life of me but damn some of those are so nice. Obviously the Raf is killer. I'm also really drawn to the YYPH SC Kilt combo. Good thing my wallet is empty. Might have made a purchase I'd regret.

Seriously, and yes I am going to talk about FLIPPING it, can we guess what thats worth? I mean, I would guess conservative $8K. Maybe more. I sold ONE fucking CDG jacket for almost $1500. Those tailcoats and shit, I just cant even.
I only see one, maybe two (really cool) coats that have sold in the $200-$250 range, and that was on b&s. Everything else looks like it'll go for several hundred apiece.

AT LEAST TWELVE THOUSAND!
