Saw this awesome BB heavy duty workwear hunting jacket thing got super excited. Saw the $50 price tag but still threw it over my shoulder. Had so much handy work, cord collar and cuffs, tons of pockets inside and out. Great weight to it. Size Large

Next couple jackets were all BB. Suede, wool etc all prices were reaching the hundo.

Was checking out and cashier pointed out the sleeve to me. Had what looked like caked mud or something on it. It didn't come off with my crappy attempt to scrape it with my nail so I passed. If anyone wants it, knows how to clean it is be happy to proxy. 100% cotton. Otherwise flawless

Dear God, did someone get run over in that thing?

And why the hell do thrift stores prices stuff without regard to the condition of the item?

That really gets to me. Want to mark up anything vaguely affiliated with Ralph Lauren or the brothers Brooks to outrageous levels? Fine. Bit when a shirt has collar/pit stains, rips, tears, missing buttons, and is completely unwearable why are you still charging as if it's premium shit?

My Prada 2 piece had a bike tire track across the chest. Luckily, I was able to rub it off with ease. I'm not surprised damaged goods ending up on the floor due to huge quantities thrift stores get on a daily basis.

Well, clearly it's getting looked at if they're marking it higher than anything else. I guess I shouldn't complain though since I've found Turnbull & Asser stuff at super-cheap prices sitting next to Nautica stuff marked at insane prices...

Limited edition #25 out of 40 pieces made (in case you were wondering why those numbers were there).  Would have snagged it.

Tyrone: I wouldn't lose sleep over that Talbott tie. It's terribly ugly. You did humanity a favor by leaving it buried in that Salvation Army bin.

Found two items tonight that were both firsts -- not that I was looking for them, but they both fit me well.

1) Aster 1973 Italian shirt with MOP buttons.  Never heard of this before and didn't even find much on the bay, but I loved the pattern/texture/look and it fits quite well.

2) Daks London Signature coat Made in Great Britain - extra pocket on the side, and weird leather around the button holes.  Says it was made for Bruhl & Sohne Graz .. something like that.  I can't read this script.

I've passed on many Daks coats that were "okay" but this struck me as special.

Plus this badass shirt. There's a pair of white 501s with my name on them I hope will still be around for a saturday sale, that should go well with this shirt and some loafers. I"m dreading this summer's heat...

Now that I've finally done some ebay research, the sold listings are anywhere from $10 to $100, but most of them around 20-30, so not a huge loss. Anyway, I tried to proxy it for another SF guy today, and it was already gone.

First of all, anyone have much experience with William Reid? From what I can see, its BReids precursor, and snagged a few pieces today. Also, any feedback on Madeline Finn? I don't think i've ever seen it on here, or in person before, but snagged a shirt today, it seems to have quite nice fabric, and massive chunky MOP's.

Second, can someone PM me a message on all the noobs? Who has proven to be a good guy/trade partner etc? I only ask because I see a lot, and want to reward those who need ot be rewarded/not hook a brotha up who isn't contributing meaningfully etc.  Also, another item I snagged just for trade, or w/e for one of you guys, is a RL signature (blue cursive label as posted recently) w/ besom pockets (sorry) but w/ ticket pocket and dual vented. Ill post pics later, but its got someone's name on it for 10+shipping. Also, WTF was going on today, i literally had to pass on 10+ unvented old zegnas, a dunhill that was too worn, and some other shit that obviously came from the same person.

PS you dallas/ft worth mothers... Will no one meet up with me? Shit, im a decent guy, ill even buy your a beer, I WANT TO MEET SOMEONE FROM SF AND HOPEFULLY HIT A STORE WITH THEM!!!!!!!!

PPS Sorry, drunk again...
