Not for everyone, but easy $$$. Even if you put them in a single 10 item lot for $400, they should go SUPER fast. I would think twice at the $15-20 range, BUT prob buy them all if actually MINT

Brian...was behind a couple pages and saw your Isaia stuff....if I had a spare $900 laying around I'd so fire on the blue size 58 suit you have.

They looked brand new. I just personally never had much luck and at 15-20per my margin would be slim at what they normally sell for me. Rather just help fellow members get some staples.

Oh yea totally, was just saying that even if no one wants (which I'm sure they will) money to be made.

They're all ties, some were worn a few times, others not at all. I spoilered the photos as there are a lot.

Really cool find! I stopped into a Ships store while in Tokyo last fall. Awesome store, but kind of pricey. As concealed said, this would have ran around $500 retail.

DM7, you need to get to a BBQ joint if you're in KC! From what friends have told me, there are so many amazing BBQ places there.

Heres a quasi thrift fit pic, the 1970s BB tie is from this weekends haul. Fitty cents!

And a Trafalgar belt from the 250 belt haul last fall.

And some (real) jade buddha links I found on etsy via tumblr for like $30.

Spoo, you need to post more thrift fits. And a huge shout out to the Capt' for hooking me up with a fantastic pair of vtg LL Bean saddles and Mistermidwester for a sweet tweed Borsoliano hat, my first! cheers.gif

Picked up two Southwick suits - one of them a 3 piece suit (both in my size)

Also found this.  They had 4 similar coats, but I just snagged the one that looked best.

Never heard of it before..  Trimingham's Bermuda?  Has little brown ships on the buttons.. Certainly unusual...

That reminds me, I recently thrifted a tux shirt that fits me better than the old one I've had for years and have outgrown by a smidgen. Not really worthy of pics in this thread (Joseph Abboud) though it is pretty decently made of Egyptian cotton, fits perfectly, and was $5. I looked at tux shirts at the mall last month and it was a two-hour exercise in frustration.
The ones that you find aren't missing a stud. Originally, only 3 studs came in a set as the cummerbund covered everything below the third stud. A fourth stud was added sometime in the last decade or two, I suppose because people were leaving the cummerbund off and needed the fourth stud to get to the jacket's button point.

When the fourth stud was added to the set, it was not because it was needed, it was an extra stud within the set. Eventually times changed after having sets produced with 4, to be used. Good luck finding a proper 3 stud shirt these days, they all come 4 now. Unless of course u go bespoke.

Some recent finds, with a few more from the last few months that I'm still going through.

Vintage Lee blanket Lined Storm Rider - Still trying to lock down a date, but the union tag is circa 1935-55. Trying to find the definitive guide for the "Lee" labels since some sites suggest 60s for Lee pocket tag, and others don't.

Wow, stunning finds all around. Very interesting to see a piece of Kiton that's not a suit, tie, shirt or pants.
