Yea, what he said. shog[1].gif On another note, I had a pretty solid haul today, after 1 1/2 years doing this, I finally found my first piece of Savile Row tailored clothing. Pics shortly.

Got to do some weekday thrifting after an eye appointment this morning. Picked up three pairs of Bills Khakis. Almost picked up an Oxxford suit and a Hickey Freeman Loro Piana 120s suit - then notice badly stitched up holes on the first, and massive pee stains on the other. (And since my eyes were still dilated and not focusing right, it was BAD).

29" Waist

A little more than an inch of extra fabric for both if you need more.

Just had one of the worst heartbreaks of my thrifting career thus far. Two, that's right, two pairs of Jodhpurs, something I've been drooling over on the bay and elsewhere for quite a while now. One pair of Alfred Sargent and one Church's. Both size 7.5 ffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gif and both beat to shit. The straps were literally hanging on for dear life. I almost shed a tear. baldy[1].gifcensored.gifcloud.gif

If there isn't any interest, maybe I can cut them up and make wool gloves for everyone.

Just put a big "BP" next to all that kid sized stuff which is obviously going to be too small for everyone else bounce2.gif

Not entirely a "thrift" but I got a hell of a deal on a Kimber Classic Custom (Series I) from way early in the production. I had it dated to the second half of '97. Not sure if you girls are as sensitive as the folks on WUS so I'll spoiler it for ya bigstar[1].gif

Nat, I'm looking at you! Let's go to the range.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Turnbull & Asser (my first)
Zegna
Scottish wool, which apparently isn't worth jack based on my post-kop perusal of ebay. Oh well, I like it.

"Ebay value" or not, during cold months I get a ton of use out of the wool tartan ties that I find in thrift stores. They can be quite nice.
