I asked about him a few weeks ago and then he popped in to say that he's been busy. It seems like a lot of regulars have been tied up recently.

+1...I lost the nose pad to a pair of mine while I was on holiday in the US. I called customer service, explained that I was leaving in a couple of days and they overnighted me a pair for FREE. I was shocked. A really great company.

Gotcha, speaking of sunglasses, I picked up this sweet pair of tortoiseshell Raybans, made in Italy. I'm still on the hunt for a replacement pair of Wayfarers for the one's I lost last summer. baldy[1].gif

Also this RLBL made in Italy spread collar in my size. Lorenzini?

Anyone know if you can convert a 6 over 1 buttoned double breasted jacket to a 6 over 2? Its just a matter of lining up the bottom 4 buttons, right? I mean assuming the lapel roll doesn't get all screwy. But setting that aside, the button holes are already in line. So aligning the buttons themselves shouldn't affect anything. Right?

Don't know the answer, but I think I know why you asked this. If you win that auction, I hope you can do it. Also, I have done business with them before, and they will take down the auction to sell outright, if you prefer to try that option.

Living in the sunshine state you would think we would have awesome bins of sunglasses. Nope. Old people shades with the side window panels? Plenty of those.

Semester is over, finally had time to photograph stuff from the last two weeks...

Please - I have included all necessary information. If there are measurements, it's available - please include your offer in the PM. I'm not trying gouge anybody or run an auction, but my goal is to get everything I have listed within the month of May, and keeping track of PMs, etc. isn't my best talent.

This is the HSM you're looking for.

I don't ever do this, but I decided to put together a (mostly) vintage thrift fit even though I'm 21 so that's kind of weird.  My collar is messed up.

Passed on my first ever St. Andrews. Beautiful 100% cashmere houndstooth tweed, but unvented and the button stance was a bit low. It'll be half price tomorrow, so I may go back for it.
