Today:
Straight beautiful, calfskin AE belt. I'm wearing it now as a matter of fact!

I stopped picking up Pink shirts awhile ago unless they were my size, but this one was too nice to leave behind and I think I'll use some of my newly acquired sewing skills to bring it down to size.

Another first for me, from an actual thrift store, at thrift store prices. Engineered Garments club collar, keeping for now.

Ans so......much.........disco........

A few things from today...

Tombolini herringbone. I don't have a lot of experience with this brand, but thought it was interesting. I didn't realize until I brought it home that it likely has spandex/synthetics in it, but there's no content tag.

I had to pay a good amount for this. There are 16 pockets, not including places for your pens and keys. It even has a pocket for a hood...that doesn't exist, nor did it ever actually have. Made in China, but it's 100% linen. It also gave me a great excuse to make the above meme.

A first for me and it's an orphan. I don't have a problem breaking my no-orphan rule on something like this and it didn't even cross my mind to leave it.

These sunglasses were at one of the most interesting places I frequent. They display/decorate incredibly well, almost as if it's a physical Etsy store. These were in a cabinet with marble cigar ashtrays, brass letter openers and an old pair of driving gloves (too worn out, I'm afraid). They don't necessarily keep valuable items in the case, more for presentation I suppose. I asked the woman if I could see the glasses and described them. She goes "Oh, the Porsche Design glasses?" I said yes, now thinking the price was going to be real-world pricing. She handed them to me and said "that's a pretty good price, those are collected." They were €9.50. She then said, if you want them, we'll just mark it down to €9.00" I was pretty happy and thanked her.

Not familiar with this brand, but this bag is really well made. It looks like something you could take to the beach.

Any clues on these pants? I assumed they were men's until I brought them home. The short rise/zipper implies women's.

What's the size of the Tombolini?

No size (or fabric content) tag, unfortunately. I would say it's right around an EU 48, but I can provide measurements if needed.

Nice... I have that same belt, also from a thrift store.

I only pick up Pink shirts if they're pink. I don't wear them, but.... Someone online does, apparently.

Sure thing, I'll post them when I get them! I was surprised to receive a few PMs about it. I haven't decided whether I want to keep it and get it to the tailor or just turn it loose. Neat jacket, though I wish I knew from what it was made. It has a bit of elasticity to it, but I don't know what the other content would be.

This one looks identical, but it's wool/cotton/silk: http://www.henrybucks.com.au/store/Tombolini-Herringbone-Flying-Jacket.html

I think Tombolini has been compared to a "poor-man's Isaia". It doesn't have Isaia's bells and whistles, but has a good modern fit. And yes, would like measurements and more photos.
