So much heartbreak today, Rouge Gallery selvedge chinos in a 29. James Peirce in a fuck ugly black cord shirt, APC cords not in my size and an APC bomber jacket that was just a little too short. But the worst was a beautiful J Press pinstripe, single breasted, peak lapel flannel jacket, dated dated 1954, with no trousers to be found. The thing had soooooo much handwork, what a shame. Also a recent PRL fly fishing jacket with fireman jacket type metal hooks down the front, not in my size and too expensive to flip. Oh well, I did manage to pick up some spring ties just in the nick of time. Madras x 2 and a PRL seersucker.
Edit: I'm not sure why my photo is sideways, sorry.
I did just pick up the sweet Timberland, made in the USA, suede and leather, rucksack/tote type thing. Quality and craftsmanship are pretty outstanding. Its a shame to think they use to make their stuff with such high standards and how shoddy their product is nowadays. Warning: Spoiler!(Click to show)
And if no one ends up being interested in the zanellas would I be able to take them in to a 33 waist?
I'm not sure. How well do they fit otherwise? I wear a W30 or W31, but I'd never be able to wear W33s. They're normally too big everywhere that I'd essentially have to have the pants recut. However, I'm not sure if there's as big of a difference proportionally between 33s and 35s. Basically, that's about the threshold of not being worth it/they'll look weird. If it were me, I'd keep an eye out on ebay for a pair that fits and then sell those.
I would also bet that someone here has a pair sitting around they'd be willing to throw your way.
