Yeah, I read up on it quite a bit before doing it. The pockets are still 10.5 inches from the hem and most modern sports coats are around 9. So I haven't thrown it off too much IMO.

Feeling pretty stressed out today. Found out our closing date on our house is being post-poned as the damn IRS is taking their sweet time getting our tax transcripts. We filed them right away and paid online to hopefully speed it up. Didn't help. Decided to go thrifting to lift my spirits. Oddly it didn't. Oh well....

Anyway, I did find a few things. All are available at cost + shipping.

NWOT Beams Japan Slim Fit flannel. Sz L (made for Japan market - 20 1/2" pit to pit).

NWOT Burkman Bros "The Tourist" shirt.

Got this for my wife but it's up for grabs too if it doesn't fit her. It size 44, about a US 8

Hey guys, I have been reading this thread for a few months and I really enjoy it. I have picked up a few things over the last couple months nothing 2 spectacular but today I found this jacket. I was wondering if someone could tell how old it is. The label doesn't look like the other kiton labels I have seen posted on this thread. From what I can gather trillion is a high end store in south florida (apparently Bernie madoff bought a bunch of stuff there right before he got knocked) Anyway any help would be appreciated

Sorry dont know hoe to use the spoiler thing

Tell you what, send it to me, ad I'll conduct an exhaustive investigation for you.

Actually, sorry, can't tell you anything about Kiton. I think it is illegal in Wisconsin. For the spoiler, however, you just use the black speech box icon. I don't know how to use it mobile though.

If any item on the thread does NOT need to be spoilered, it's that Kiton jacket.

Nice find, klay49. I have no Kiton expertise but if I had to guess I'd say that looks relatively recent. Brace yourself for a few dozen PMs.

div25sec9 and I saw on a local menswear store's facebook page, photos from an RG trunk show. Not that I'd wear their stuff but the fabrics appeared to be a little less wild than those used in the past. Also, interesting to note, there seemed to be more women than men in attendance. Could it be that wives are buying for husbands?

Speaking of other weird retail encounters, I was cutting through Holt Renfrew (ultra high-end Canadian department store chain) and I came across a K-Way "pop up" store (at least that's what the sign claimed it was). It was really a vertical display cabinet of K-Way products. Now, when I was young, K-Ways were de rigueur for the elementary school and camping crowds. Fold 'em up in a pouch and clip it around your waist, or wear 'em in the rain (wear it in the sun and you have your own wearable sauna suit). happy.gif

Very strange to seem them back. They were about $85 a crack. Has anyone found/sold any?
