All from my apparent doppeldoner

I grabbed....
3 zegna SCs
1 zegna suit
2 canali suits
1 Paul Stuart sc
1 Brooks seersucker sc

Had to leave behind a few obvious orphans.
My current wardrobe consists of one suit, one tux and one Harris tweed sc. Plenty of room. Just wish I could find some shirts that fit my short arms.

As someone directly effected (or is it affected? damn you grammar) by what is referenced here, i can't agree more. I'm touched by the thoughtfulness and the kindness of our community, at all times, but especially when it counts. More than that is the comfort of the support you have all provided to me and my family in a difficult time.

This community has provided so much -- so much knowledge, so much diversion, so much humor, etc. Today is just a tangible form and reminder of what makes us so special.

As I resume thrifting, I look forward to repaying the debt I owe through random acts of kindness.

Humbly,

Brioni shirt, Euskatel Euskadi team jersey by Etxe-Ondo (my size!), Balmain Paris dress shirt.

Might want to check the content tag on that Balmain shirt.  I found a Balmain sweater with the same current tag, though the content tag suggested it was a bootleg.

Cool Euskatel jerzee.  Pretend you're Sammy Sanchez for a day.

God damn, I love vague auction titles, descriptions, and photos that require a bit of detective work and luck.  Thrifting is always better when done in your underwear.

The cuffs on the Eton shirt are convertible cuffs.  You can either wear them as barrel cuffs with the buttons on the cuffs, or you can wear them as single cuffs using cufflinks (not to be confused with French cuffs which are double cuffs).

"Eton with banded collar. Can someone explain those cuffs? They seem to be a mix of french cuff and standard"

convertible cuffs, I think. They're made so you can use the button or wear them with cufflinks (I have a couple of shirts like this). But I think you're using 'french cuff' wrong - it's only French if it's a double cuff. A single cuff with two holes and no button is still for use with cufflinks, but it is not a French cuff.

edit: high five, thriftydood...

This the banana republic I've found in the past twice and have flipped them easily for a decent profit.

Talk to EazyE that's his hood. When I visited back in feb, I was on foot and didn't have a chance to thrift at all. Was a bit bummed but was still fun to shoot the shit wit eazy over a beer or 6.

+1, our prayers go out to u more than any tangible item can do, but in the Midst of it all, ur family shall enjoy the wonders of a special treat for the endurance u all have travelled as of late. Stay strong, and lead ur family to peacefulness. God bless u.

As for the jersey... I've thought about buying one of these before. I loved the Etxe Ondo stuff I've had in the past!

My vote is that this is the label right before Balmain went next-level-status.

Def keep. See what you wear in the next year and then sell.. They arnt going to lose value like a car. IMO find some high end shirts you like in staple colors and spend to have the arms taken up. I only recently started doing this and it is SO nice! When you use thrift money I dont feel bad.

Well I guess in keeping most of them for now. Should have some pics tonight. If I lose the spare tire this spring as planned they will fit even better. Pants and shirts are the biggest hurdle now.
