Sn0man: Nice work. Love them Borrellis.

BTW, prepare to have mind BLOWN: It's "La- Sa - nYa" and "Nyo- kki". Not "La- za- Gnuh" or "Gggggg- nocki".

Since it seems to be raining Borrelli, I think I'll head out and hope for some of that thrift synergy. peepwall[1].gif

Christ's sake, look at thatbutton hole!

It's purdy, no?  I have a hard time wearing my Men's Wearhouse coats after wearing this.

If ti fits you you should really be keeping it... however if you do want to sell it, it's my size. Just saying

^^ I'm with you, easye.  Time to find my first Borrelli.

Any thread regulars that haven't responded to HansderHund's PM request, do so before the end of the day!

Had a pretty good week/weekend of thrifting.  More quantity than quality, but I'm happy about it.  Pics later today.

Info sent this morning re: secret PMs happy.gif

If your real initials are MZ, please let me know your SF username, I didn't get it in PayPal. Second round will be sent out tonight (my time), so anyone that recently PMed me, it will be forwarded on later. I stayed up answering PMs last night as late as I could, but I woke up to a number of people that had written while I was asleep.

Thanks again everyone!

Really enjoyed Harney Sushi too.  Was a little concerned there were no Asians working there when we walked in, but was pleasantly surprised by the food.

This goes in the "items found in thrift purchases" file.... 1979 high school ski trip permission slip found in a Cheech & Chong LP:

Found one of those Jos A Bank merino wool mock turtleneck sweaters (a nice shade of green) at a Goodwill on Saturday for $10.00. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

It fit great so I took it home and carefully washed it. It takes a long time to dry out but I may try to wear it at work tomorrow.

The people of this thrift thread, while I must say sometimes are a little rough around the edges (me included)...are by and large some class dudes.

Lookin' at you, Hansderhund, in particular this morning.

That is all.

spam[1].gif (not my auction, but an e-thrifting Q)

Rag and Bone made stuff for Target? Is their stuff usually Made in China, or is this some diffusion line. Worth the price? Not really my style, but wondering.

Pretty junky, IMO. It's a collaboration diffusion line with Target from last holiday season. I don't recall the MSRP, but it certainly wasn't higher than what this seller is asking. They are banking on the "limited edition" nature of this sweater, and hoping that someone buys into that.

This was also sold at Neiman Marcus. I tried it on and it was noice. I went back to get it and it was gone frown.gif . Body hugging and form fitting, which I like. I don't recall the price, either. At the same time they were doing this for target/NM, they also had another nice SC from Thom Browne. I believe that Rag Bone mainline stuff is made in China, but not 100%.
